The pen tool is a very powerful tool, but a very misunderstood tool and very difficult to use. Bert spends this entire episode teaching just how the pen tool works.

What a great episode! I must say that I too have been using polygonal lasso tools to make selections like a chump. This is truly great. I always knew about the pen tool, but it seemed too clunky to let me do what I wanted. This was a great and straight-forward way to use it.

I'm now looking forward to next episode, when we get to see it in use.

I must say, I love how regularly these episodes are being produced. I intend to eventually gather as many episodes as possible and put them on a disc as a very in-depth how-to for intermediate to advanced photoshop users.

The pen tool has been a mystery to many of us. I did find out the way to use it the hard way, by digging into articles, tutorials... etc. But apparently, PS gurus are reluctant for one reason or another to tackle this topic. Then BERT came (yes, capital letters for the man!) and clarified things. Thanks Bert. Revision 3 - Pixel Perfect has becme a MUST every time I start my Internet navigation.
