external audio?

I have a t1i and it doesn't have a external mic port. Whats a good device that I can use to record separately and then sink the audio later in edit.

personally if money isn't a big deal than i'd get an zoom h4n.

but if you're on a budge they've got zoom h1 and zoom h2
