I've just set up my website and need some feedback on it.
www.media-drones.com

It's basically a Media Hub. Not for breaking news stories, but for us to talk about what's on our minds. The Article I wrote was about "Terriers" and its cancellation.

Thanks for the feedback :)

I'm looking for a Writer for my website.
Website is a Media Hub for Comics, Movies, TV Shows and Video Games

I just need someone that can produce a Article once a Week.
(Could just be a Paragraph and a Picture)
We also do a Podcast once a Week.

I can't pay you. This is more of a hobby.
If you're slightly interested email me at mediadrones(at)gmail.com

colors are a bit harsh on the eyes. I suggest using web2.0... easy colors and a nice font style and size

sorry but it is ugly...the colors are harsh on the eyes....the look is quite tacky. all of the graphics are very dull

I'll be honest SquareSpace sucks...they claim that with little to even no coding/web design skill anyone can make great sites on SS...that simply isn't true. If it were...I wouldn't have a job. lol

Overall SS is a good idea and the platform is quite powerful for those who can manipulate it well but for those that can't...it is kind of an empty shell of a promise.

I'm sorry if this comment is a bit rude but if you dont want true honesty then you shouldnt open the question up to anyone. At least I wasnt abusive though...so thats a plus I think.

@allabouttv Thanks for the advice I'll check the forums out.

@rottnkorpse @digitalexpl0it

I don't find it harsh if I was easily offended I wouldn't have asked you guys like you said.

The reason why I went with this dull look was because I was going for a News Paper vibe except everything on one sheet.

For people with a iPad I thought it looked amazing and was easy to access.

OK, so obviously it's been a while since the last post on this thread and some changes must have been made to your site since then. I didn't see any harsh colors, just a very eye pleasing white and gray color scheme. I didn't spend a whole lot of time on there, but what I did see looked good. Unless I missed it, it would be a good idea for each of your contributers to write up a small personal bio. It makes things a little more personal, and the people that work on the site a little more approachable. Keep up the good work.

Hi,

I like your website. I found it to be easy to read the content and easy to navigate throughout. I like the way you added the Twitter on the right side of your pages. I also feel that the search link lead to a specific page to search. I never thought of doing that. I just might implement that into my own website.

Keep at it and your online world will come together. I feel it's hard to create a website and finding a format to follow throughout each page to help it make it look professional.

@virux - It looks like you recently updated the site... It's not looking bad :-)

You're using Squarespace now?
