Mr. Uygur I'm afraid you are missing the point. Mentally disturbed individuals in addition to impulse control problems tend to not grasp reality well if at all. The shooter was expelled form his community collage because of his unbalanced behavior. He was also ordered to undergo treatment, which he did not. Voices in his head could have set him or anyone else in his state off. Any one who would take those off the deep end statements to heart, would not need the media to set them selves off.

The shooter was a nut-job who read the Communist Manifesto and the writings of Adolph Hitler. He had been obsessed with Giffords for years, long before Sarah Palin was on the national stage.

Yep! in addition to that, the guy made several YouTube videos were he burned the American flag. Something that the right strongly disapproves of.

whoops! pardon my lack of sleep and bad spelling!You have to admit that an unbalanced beaver would be enough to make anyone homicidal. If it was Alaskan Beaver, Palin would have shot it.
Anytime something like this happens, regardless of left/right red/blue politics, the question I ask is how did someone with a known mental disorder legal purchase a handgun AND why would anyone outside of law enforcement need a 30shot clip on a hand gun. I don't advocate banning guns, but FFS how about a little gun control here? Not at a state level - at a federal level so it is consistent, with a national computerised gun register.
