Dignation, TRS and Tekzilla Small Quicktime Issues in iPod Touch 3rd gen

So it started a few months ago, every now and then the video would freeze while the audio continues. No worries, pause the video, wait a second and play and it works.

Then it happened more often, and then it required me to exit the video app. At this point most episodes have so many freezes that it doubles the play time of some TRS episodes from rewinding after a freeze.

Today the worst offence happened. In the most recent Diggnation (Wine, Weed, Superconductors, and Supercharged Immunity) a bit after the 8 minute mark the video was black, for the rest of the episode. I did everything including a hard reboot of my iPod while I was on the way to school "watching the episode" the only thing I didn't try was restarting the episode.

Why is this happening? I always expect high quality video, especially from Tekzilla where they're videophiles!

The iPod I am using is the 3rd generation with the latest firmware at all times.
I'm having issues in the Diggnation & TRS Quicktime Small versions and the weekly Tekzilla Small MP4 version.

Watching TRS the video starts slowing down and then the audio is desynced.

I hate saying this to people, but it sounds like a hardware or connectivity issue on your end. The media in question plays back beautifully with no issues for me on several devices, although I couldn't find a 3rd gen touch to test it on. Did you download the file or are you streaming it?

Downloaded from the official feeds. Some of which are iTunes ones which means they're fixed as Rev3 changes them.
