When I try to transfer a video episode of any rev 3 production downloaded with itunes I am told by the itunes program that it can not be played on my ipod. The itunes version is a qtime video that is I am guessing out of the spec range of my ipod.

However the version from the rev 3 sight labled ipod ver will load and play it is a mpeg-4 file.

Question: If this is the case why is there no mpeg-4 version on itunes, where alot of people with ipods go to get their vidcasts?
P.S. My ipod is new got it a week ago and i think it is a gen5 ipod cant tell for sure but it will play video and i am using itunes 7.0 .

oops found a like thread sorry.

We have a number of problems with the iTunes feeds pointing to the wrong sources. We're working with apple to fix it. Meanwhile, download the .m4v's directly from us to work with iPod video.
