Don't know if I am doubling posting this thread. Couldn't find a number.
Twice I wanted to comment on Secret Service stuff. A bunch of years ago, I worked with a guy that had a Brother in the Secret Service. He went on vacation, came back with simple 35mm pics of Clinton arriving at the Whitehouse. He only knew the gate 'cause his Brother told them where to be after the codes were called in. The Pics showed Clinton opening the limo window and waving.
He also told me that if that simple motorcade was interrupted by anything dangerous. The SS guys would jump out of the motorcade SUV's and be firing their m4's before their boots hit the ground. M4's are replacing M-16's for close combat. (I think that was the gun that dumped Bin laden) In a smaller motorcade like that, until the actual threat was determined, everyone dies. They'd shoot everything. They should if they feel the are under attack!
It is different in a Parade or something. The SS is so hidden among the crowd, it would be taken care of anyway. They won't shoot children or anything.
Also the Stealth Helicopter that was lost was the only disappointment. I'd rather not know about it as Heroes use it.
