An interesting topic for sure? NotMTV visits with the Christian hardcore band Bless the Fall, and talks to Bleed the Dream's Dave Aguilera.
Check it out in episode 7 (http://revision3.com/notmtv/bless).

They sound like pretty cool, down-to-earth guys... deluded with the whole God thing, but they sound alright.
It seemed a little to me like they were just using the Christian aspect to push themselves into the industry. Being only 18/19 year olds I wouldn't be surprised if some church group decided to back them financially etc and get them signed so they can appeal (and maybe recruit) more young people.
Why the f%$k do there need to be these so-called "Christian" bands? ... why not just be a regular band? The only reason I can see is that they can get backing from churches who want to spread their reach, recruit more young people (who they regularly prey on already) and increase their power.
Sad, very sad.

They seemed like an OK band...I wouldn't buy any of their songs but they're alright.

I kinda agree with this sentiment... I mean, if you're a band, and you happen to write songs dealing with faith or religion or whatever, why can't your music just stand on it's own? Why do you need to label yourself or associate yourself with a genre that is almost certainly going to turn some people away? Just put your music out there and let the people decide if they like it or not.
I mean, I'm pretty sure I would NEVER listen to a band that labels themselves a "Christian" band, yet I have no problem listening to other artists who sing about their faith. U2 is most immediately coming to mind...
Shrug. To each their own.

Yeah there's something about that "Christian" label that really turns me off.

hey as a christian i'm sometimes turned off of "christian music" because honestly alot of times its the same sound and the main difference is if its a guy girl or a group singing, but with that said there is a big movement of bands getting away from that label, I mean as a christian you are suppose to be an example of Christ and he mingled with the average person and not in his own secret club of religious people or whatever. some bands to check out that you might not hear sadly because of them having the christian label is.
