WHOA! when I first saw the topic title I thought someone was drunk but seems you are heavily sedated.
I could hardly understand all that but sounds like you were in for surgery or something.
Whatever it is..you have my best wishes.

This looks like a joke to me, then again...its hard to tell given the post. It looks like she said she is on Vicodin from surgery but Vicodin wouldn't do this to you. I was on strong doses of Vicodin after getting my shoulder operated on and it doesn't cause you to do stuff like this. It brings you down and makes you sleepy.
Again, hard to tell given the first post. I hope I am right in my prediction and you didn't have to get surgery! :(

Aria doesn't seem to me like the kind of person who would do this as a joke.
And Aria, I hope you get better soon. It sounds like you've already gone though the worst and are now recovering. My prayers are with you.

So, vicadin does not really affect me either, but if you would know, PAIN effects me, missing internal organs would effect me. Does anyone feel that being in pain and recovering from a serious surgery would cause them to not care if they typed perfectly. She thought of our community first before her recovery.
God Bless you Aria, hope you get better.

Haha, I'm by no means an expert on any drug. Its just, I used it on and off for about a year due to my shoulder always dislocating and after I got it operated on. I was on strong doses for a while and I'm by no means a big guy (140 lbs).
I also know friends/family that were prescribed it and I've saw it cause something like this. In fact, my mom got her appendix taken out a few weeks ago and she was on it for that.
Again though, I don't know because I couldn't tell what the was saying in the first post. I hope all is well and you get better soon. :)

I want to make a few things clear from my prior posts:
I don't mean to come across as if I'm calling Aria a liar or anything. I'm just trying to interpret a post that is well...kind of hard to interpret. As I said before, I hope it is a joke because surgery is no fun. Perhaps I shouldn't try to make heads or tails out of it until she comes back and responds to let us all know whats going on.
But until then, get better Aria. You'll be in my thoughts and prayers.

I'll be asleep again pretty soon. What's going on is that I lost my large intestine at 14 and got food poisoning for the second time on in two weeks on Sunday. The force of the vomiting with how many times I did it strained a lot of my internals. They don't have the ability to move around and shift like for a normal person because of the adhesions. They're kind of glued together from scar tissue. Scar tissue's a *****. Anyway, yesterday the pain reached the worst I ever felt in my life, and I actually have a very high pain tolerance so went to the ER afraid that they were going to tell me I had a whole in my small intestine again or an abscess. So the diagnosis of organ and muscle strain is GOOD, but I am still in tremendous pain. But the doc said I won't be in the clear for a week or two because other problems could be delayed in showing up.
Things like Vicodin and Phenergan knock me out so severely. Hell, half a dose of NyQuil does to because I so rarely take the stuff, and so have no tolerance. After surgeries in the past, when I'd be on Vicodin for a while, it ceased making me tired after a while. But it's been almost three years since my last venture with the stuff. Not to mention being in a LOT of pain can also distract me.
Phatlip, medications affect e differently than a lot of people because my body operates a little differently. Post loss-of-large-intestine, it had to acclimate to the loss of the main organ responsible for liquid absorption, which did result in other organs behaving a bit differently. I mean, acids settle my stomach, for one. And certain medications, like aspirin and penicillin, cause me to go into anaphylactic shock. Morphine causes temporary blindness and migraines. Not fun times, I tell you. The first (and last) time I had morphine I was scared to death not seeing for a few days, and blindness isn't even listed as a side affect. Or at least it wasn't then, I don't know about now.
I woke up on and off for a few hours, e-mailed my boss (that's not exactly a very amusing e-mail), though he understood the gist that I am sick and would be useless, so am staying home today, saw a story I submitted, and went back to bed.
I woke up again a few minutes ago, went to the bathroom, and took more medicine, so I'll be knocked out again soon Already I'm making spelling mistakes, but am coherent enough to fix them, I think.
It's really, really scary for me when I feel a lot of pain like that. Too much of life has been spent living in hospitals. Nine open abdominals, including spending my 21st birthday under the knife, would be upsetting for anyone. The battle scars on my stomach and abdomen are terrible.
I wish this was a joke. Hurting like this is terrible and I'm missing not only work (and I LOVE going to work), but my ballet classes and other events I'd been looking forward to for this week.
Thanks for well-wishes. Somehow they help.
Okay, getting blurry eyes.

Some of you probably know that I work in the pharmacy industry.
Vicodin has an opiate base and does some weird things and side effects vary wildly depending on a lot of factors. Most people experience a short period of groggy almost drunken behavior followed by a crash. Personally, those type of meds make me itchy as hell.
Hope you're feeling better Aria. And remember, please don't post on message boards when you're under the influence.

Rough judgment to pass on someone on your sixth post.Sixth post? I just looked up the IP address (houston based roadrunner service). Any coincidence that Fanceygirl and Gamba88 use the same IP address? How about the fact that they both use dreamkilla88@yahoo.com as an email address?? Or the fact that one says they are female, the other says they are male?
