I think I'm just going to give up on jobs and take life by the horns. I have myself a good plan, maybe, as long as I dont screw up. It involves Money, and companies. If you guessed investing/wall st., you'd be correct. Ive always been slightly interested in stocks, and Some stocks ive watched and guessed what they would do, and they usually do what I think they will, hence, It might be a good idea to put those thoughts to use and cash in on my guessing game. I Have no real education beyond a 5 day crash course in Economics a few years back in High school, so It could be good, It could be bad. Starting off with a grand, go for the small ones first, make money on em, and work my way to the larger stocks. I have some insight from my dad i could go with (he started out pretty lame with stocks, but now is doing quite well with picking and choosing what to buy and what to sell) and I also have some good shows set for season pass on tivo that tell you what looks good/bad, what will pay out in days, and what will pay out in a few years.
Oh, and I think i dislocated my jaw or something, maybe slipped some cartalidge. it hurts on the right side socket when i move my jaw any, although, i seemed to make it a bit better last night (doesnt hurt all the time) but now i cant open it as far without it hurting. If its not one thing, its another...

Woman with two young kids. A couple of minor items, plus a toy truck, and some contact lens solution ... and 5 $0.25 strips of childrens stickers.
Self checkout - che scanned them all. All except the contact solution and the truck. She then put everything EXCEPT two of the sticker strips into the bag (the kids cry that she didn't put them in there), and IN go the toy truck and lens solution.
Woman at the front door looks at receipt, counts the items, and magically they are correct - they just don't match the list.
Should I have spoken up and reported the woman to the manager? Possibly. Probably, but I dont know the woman's family situation, and WalMart have a policy of not getting police involved for less than $X (I am not sure what the amount is).
Hope the kid enjoys the toy truck and his mother doesn't trade it for crack later.

Nope. Wholesaling. The rest is just the expected mark-up. This is for four rings and a pair of earrings I had planned to sell for $600-$800 each. I do this most major gift-giving holidays. But this year, they have yet to arrive.
Here's the funny thing. You can buy something for pennies, insure it for the certificate amount, "lose" it, and insurance will pay the certificate amount. Yes, it's fraud, and I once turned down a sale because the guy was stupid enough to tell me he was planning to do that. I'm not going to be a knowing-accessory and lose my license and freedom. I ordered a new Amp for my Home Theatre via etronics. Normally I wouldn't use a company with a budget price from NY that doesn't work Saturdays, but I ordered via Amex, and used my points to get the Sony STR-DG800. Because of the Amex connection, I thought everything would go smoothly.
Placed the order on the 10th ... their website said "in stock" and proclaimed ships in 1-2 days. Waiting .... waiting .... Thursday/Friday last week, it finally cleared "Packing" and made it to shipping. They then said that a tracking number would be sent. Waiting ... waiting .... Called on Monday, and talk to a guy that said that the item had shipped, but that the tracking numbers were "backlogged" and I would probably receive the item before I get the tracking number. Dubious, but plausible.
Anyaway, I got a tracking number last night. According to UPS, the package is in a "Billing Information Received" - which means it probably hasn't been picked up from the warehouse yet. It only hits the road and can be tracked after it has had its "Origin" scan done.
****ers. I chose ground shipping (typically takes 4-5 days) because I placed the order 2 weeks in advance, but still wanted it by Christmas. Now it looks like I wont be unwrapping it until after :( ...
Can't they just give it to Santa to ship to me? He gets his deliveries done in one night.

Ah, "The Long and Winding Road." It's a hard choice my friend. The worst thing is that by the time she turns to you, you won't think she's all that anymore.
I spent five year hopelessly in love with a women who was only a good friend. By the time it happened, I really didn't want it.

I was friends with a guy who was attracted to me and cared about me. I knew it too. And he stood by as I dated other guys and even tried to help me and made me feel better when it didn't work. I was dating others partially to try to turn him off and partially to deny my own attraction for him. So I always had an excuse to dodge anything that could be considered dates. We'd go out when I was dating someone else, but strictly as friends. He always treated me well. I feel like such a horrib b*tch and will not snap at anyone who agrees. I'm damned lucky that he was there still when I opened my damned eyes to what was right there in front of me. I know I don't deserve him and am lucky to be dating him right now.
So I'm sorry, Shu. I'm sorry on behalf of that girl. Even having been in the spot of caring about someone who doesn't feel the same way, I'm sorrier that you are having to go through this.

Wikipedia is more like heroin. Far too many hours have I wasted at work (when I could be grading papers) looking up obscure comic characters or learning the nuances of urban exploration (my future career, by the way).
Also, Quantum Leap was an awesome concept, just as Exiles was, but the problem is the story can never really go anywhere. If you change the format, you lose what made the show work in the first place, and dat's wack!
Perhaps a vital difference: I stopped reading Exiles, but those Quantum Leap box sets will never get old.

Yay... Might have my job back... Talked to my one supervisor, she was waiting for me to call, because she lost my number. She told me her, along with my other supervisor, and about 35 workers are all putting in good word and pulling strings for me to come back (they all love me :D ), and she said pretty much as soon as the powder building is up and running again, I'll be back! Powder is down again though because they got audited by the FDA, and it could be a matter of a few weeks to a few months before they get back running in that building. In the mean while, all the powder people are in the liquid building helping out, and therefore, since I was new, I kind of got the ass end og the deal and got layed off. But, hopefully it will be only a few weeks till they are running again. I miss my coworkers... They miss me... and I was supposed to hang out with them before Xmas, but plans got effed because of getting layed off and us all being retards and not trading digits...
Oh, and my jaw hurts still... feels like it might have been dislocated (dislocated other side about 6 years ago), but if I press hard in my cheek, I can feel a lumpy thingy where the jaw's joint is, and it hurts. The lump does not exist on the other side... It mostly only hurts when I bite something, open more then half, or when I wake up. It sucks... Oh, and if I move it around, I can hear weird noises...
On a final night for this evening, UPS took my package to NYC, total opposite end of the state... Maybe they tried to hand it off to Buxy or someone out there... Reschedualled delivery date is tomorrow, its in NJ now... Problem was caused by a retard at Threadless writing down the wrong ZIP on the package...

The G4 of today is much too hip and snarky to appeal to real gamers. They constantly make fun of the demographic they used to pander to. Other than admit that "TV for Gamers" is a failed concept, they morphed into this strange train wreck of tech, boobs and bad humor. They should blow the place up and stop waiting my cable bandwidth.

A few hints I've learned from having weekly delivieries (UPS or otherwise).
"Rescheduled" or "Attempted Delivery" even though you've been five feet from your front door for the last two days means the driver decided to take a long weekend without a vacation day and is actually in Buffalo at his mom's house eating Christmas dinner. Seriously. I've reported packages missing in these situations and the driver has later been fired for slacking off.
If they can't find your package, that means it was actually stacked in the truck under something very heavy that the driver doesn't have the energy to deliver, or can't deliver because the business it goes to closed early for the holiday.
I had FedEx take FIVE DAYS to deliver an overnight package, four of which the tracking page said it was out on the TRUCK to be delivered. However, I have had UPS pop up as saying they attempted delivery and I wasn't at home, despite the fact that I'd been sitting in my front yard for an hour watching birds with my daughter.
It all usually comes down to some joker thinking he's smarter than the system, and can slack off. They really ought to test new guys on my route, cause I'll call in and ***** about it right off the bat. Especially when they scare the crap out of me and send a driver that looks like he's sixteen years old and doesn't have a uniform on. I almost didn't open the door, but I figure they don't give out those electronic clipboards to just anybody, lol. He turned out to be a nice enough kid, temp for the holidays, and they hadn't gotten a uniform in that would fit him yet.
I'd call the customer service number, say you were expecting your package... I mean, it's cool that your mom is in the loop and all, but reporting through normal channels will probably get a better response.

Wait...Whats man juice? It is a dietary supplement for people not getting enough in their lives.
Each teaspoon has about 5 - 7 calories.
Ingredients include:
Fructose sugar
Water
Ascorbic acid (a.k.a., vitamin C)
Citric acid
Enzymes
Protein
Phosphate and bicarbonate buffers (bases)
Zinc
Other (200-500million sperm)
Not a significant source of any of these substances in anyones diet. Women are much better off eating their vegetables, than gobbling their man. Of course, as a man, I say "screw conventional diets - this provides an ideal weightloss strategy and is a perfect substitute for chocolate."

I hacked my gps, and pretty much asap, im going to have myself into a few stocks (2-3 to start) and hopefully they go the right way. back to my gps, it is the mio c310x, that was on sale for 150 on black friday. well, i saw it ran windows ce, so i couldnt help but google around and see how to unlock it, and now its running wince, and the gps stuff still works great!
Oh, on xmas eve, i flew down here, used my gps on the plane, to boston, the plane hit 589mph, and from boston to ft myers florida, it hit 495mph (was surprised the gps caught the signal good enough from such a high speed, it had a difficult time, but all in all wasnt too bad. now i have a calculator and stuff on it. i am thinking of buying the c710 and putting skype on that one because it has bluetooth and some other goodies this one doesnt.
Oh, and unfortunatly, last night, my last grandparent passed away to conjestive heart failure (water in the lungs?), and due to his death, we are starting a legal battle tomorrow because his girlfriend claims her daughter is the power of attorney, and we are demanding from her written approval from a lawer that was present when my grandfather was alive, or written consent directly from my grandfather (would have to be over 4yrs old because his hands were kind of frozen up for the past 3-4 yrs after he had a stroke and recovery and stuff.) so, essentially, were going to get his girlfriend effed over very good, as she already screwed our family up enough (my 2 uncles havnt gotten to see my grandfather for the past 6 years due to her being such a controlling b*tch, and now she claims none of us wanted anything to do with my grandfather, when my sister, my dad, my mom, and myself were among the most common visitors to his nursing home room, besides his girlfriend who might as well be in one. only reason we couldnt be there with him every damn minute of every day is because we all had work and crap to do...

Were going to be letting the will go for now, until its all settled, and then go legally to recover everything because the b*tch somehow managed to have a will of his we didnt know about. To the good side of things, After everything gets settled in about 2 years (legally until all court issues and everything is done..., i'll never have to talk to peggy again... No, my grandpa wasnt james brown. I prolly wasnt clear on his death, it wasnt heart failure, it was fluid in the lungs, along with his kidneys shutting down, from the old age, and well, being old was the main thing. Were going to fight it in the courts to try to get his last will made void due to him being in a falsified state of mind or whatever its called, so essentially, his old will becomes his final will, and things go like they should.

I beg to differ. For instance, long time ago I used to dream of having a baby...wonderful dreams, then I had one and that aspect of my life, while the dreams were nice, the reality better. Full of work, pain and complaints but still infinitely better. Reality can be better, if it's done right.
