...what would you do? I am currently producing a show, and I feel like it would be perfect for Rev3.

I viewed my favorite episode where they incinerated [sic] the notebook Ramzi touched off with thermite. Hey, why not a whole show, or top ten, something along the lines where each week, each episode they destroy a laptop. Now mind you, it doesn't have to be a real nice laptop, just something that has it's basic shape, (a la' Dukes of Hazard always destroying the Charger). You could have reader/viewers polled to see which would be the most fantastic destruction. My personal fav was the thermite though. Maybe use gunpowder, maybe some highvoltage from a substation, throw one into a turning jet turbine, perhaps feed one to a wood chipper, y'know somewhat automated destruction... the more spectacular the better.

Who is P Norton? I was thinking more like K Rose and maybe Vida Guerra [FHM, Maxim], sorta PyroPodCast Series, name it: SystmCrash -- or -- BurntBytes -- or -- Ctrl-Alt-BOOM! Something with that techie spin that the guys at Digg are famous for... but with explosions, fire, and the occasional 'whoops' outtakes but without the trip to the ER. Kinda' digg on "JackAss" but way cooler and way, way, more intelligent. Hmmmm, intelligent destruction, that has a nice ring to it too....

Patrick Norton (born June 26, 1970, Urbana, Illinois) was co-host and managing editor of The Screen Savers, an interactive television program on TechTV geared toward the technology enthusiast.
Saying you don't know who Patrick Norton does not make you friends around here.

Well, I gotta little sympathy for the "english" part. He is after all not an English native speaker. But, still, he was kinda rude. Oh well. He's too new to know... You, on the other hand...

I had to play catch up. Wikpedia for three days. My apologies to P Norton + magunwarrior who's patience I tested. (My ball crapped out, the left button was broke, had to get a new one - tis' why I sent u da' double pm) Sorry 'bout that. I only recently heard about Rev 3 and The Br0ken from my boss. I'd been under my rock looking for cell site wavetable data, satellite parogees; then there's my day job. Jus' did laundry after about three months. You're pretty cuwl for a leet teenager.

I'd imagine.. if you wanted to pitch a show, you'd need some form of a budget, and some form of a crew. You'll notice at the end of the Totally Rad Show, if you watch it its created by Team Awesome, LLC, however 'licenced' by Revision3. As with most TV production you create the show, feed it to a few people, and see if they like it. Networks normally licence/buy 'x' amounts of episodes.
Its also good to know how to storyboard and that kind of stuff. I'm not sure how big the production thing is with revision3 things, but its good to know how to do basic show layouts.

Who is P Norton? Peter or Patrick? ... and are they in fact related??
Patrick Norton is know around here for TSS and DL.TV fans, but how many people remember Peter Norton and his face beaming from every box of Norton's Utilites sold?
Back before "Norton" was associated with Norton Anti Virus (in fact a Symantec product), no self respecting geek would be caught without a copy of Norton Utilities (especially Undelete) and maybe Norton Commander on a 5.25" DSDD Floppy.
Ah ... memories.

Started playing about with Adobe Premeire Elements 3.0; pretty cool way to put together clips... lots of bugs though in the software. Anyone know the best way to get compression without costing framerate or pixel density? Check it out on YouTube... (keyword search:) AlaskaLoneWolf, toys, alaska, fairbanks... etc... should be pretty easy to find. Gonna revise some of it.

I miss TSS. That was the best show on TV. G4 sent that station straight to h**l in a hand-basket. The best way to describe G4 is the "The Star Trek Channel"

Hey don't forget about such shows as Cops and The Jamie Kennedy Experiment, don't want to sell the network short do we ?

Get your production company's agent in touch with Revision3's agent.

...session, holed up in the cabin, on a strict diet of cheetos and muk tuk just to catch up on the episodes. Now I understand what you were saying. Guess that's what I get for not paying attention. In my defence though, I am out in the woods sans parabolic dish. The lower 48 has better satellite footprints y'know, and we have issues, what mountains and what not that tend to be in the way. High-speed internet tends to be a 'new' thing around these parts... sorry for jumping the gun with what I said before...

I would like to see Infected gone. Before people think I'm crazy let me explain. Split it into two or more shows like The GATOR Show. Also Martin needs a better show since Infected started as a slide show and is a little boring now. I would love a JOEY show. Here rev3 make a comedy called GATOR & JOEY self explanatory. Also a Sara Lane show. I think it is about time. Sure her reporting is good but I think she deserve more. What about a DiggNation spin off?
