When you modify the 360 with the firmware can xbox live find out, and does it affect anything with xbox live?
I'm pretty sure they can find out, will they I don't know.

the 3.0 firmware has a stealth mode, but it's only stealth for the media atm...the firmware IS NOT stealth. so go on xbox live at your own risk. nobody has a definitive answer to what MS is doing about the hack yet. as soon as people start using the hack to cheat on games in xbox live i'm sure it'll really get catty.

The new xbox's arrived first in Australia and UK. Unfortuantly I'm in Australia had haven't bought a 360 yet, so I might be screwed.

The iExtreme firmware is safe for Xbox live at the moment. Also, a lot of our customers with the Extreme 5.3 firmware play on live and have not been banned.

I have viewed the videos and such on the xbox 360 hack but yet i do not fully understand. Between the replacement of the drive and the blaster i have seen used. I'm wanna know what way i should go and how i can go about it. Also what requirment are there as far as hardware and software goes what do i need to do it. I looked into the replacement of the drive and shown in thebroken but i don't know how i can go about installing it all in my xbox and does my computer have what it needs.

I think if you don't want to get banned it will be a matter of just consently having the latest and greatest hacked firmware.

i want to know if anyone has info on if ixtreme firmware is going to still be xbox live safeafter the update on november 19th
