Since I've seen Kevin's chumby on the latest diggnation episode I've been thinking about it frequently. Well, I think I'm in love .. :o

Does anyone feel like I do?

I don't think it will be a hit, and they will drop the price

I think i'll preorder one as soon as i can. That thing looks awesome - even if it doesnt sell well, having one would be great to play around with

That might be true, depending on the price of it.

i think its supposed to be like 150 or something which is a little steep for a glorified clock but i would still like one.

I agree or at least under $80. $150 is a bit high for me.

its an lcd screen shoved inside of a furry cuddley football
it has wifi and no keyboard so how do you surf the internet or read digg articles on it if you cant interact with it? is there some sort of input device that you use that i dont know about

frederik

It has a 3.5" touchscreen which should be perfect for selecting articles you wanna read or just scroll down a page.

I think 150 bucks is ok for the first edition. Geek stuff is always a bit more expensive before it becomes available to the mainstream.

btw. I love the name & no; I have never heard of a dog called chumby. But I'm not indian.. ;)

I went to their site, and it actually made things less clear to me...

www.chumby.com

Somewhere it said that march 2007 would be the release date. I wonder if that's still the case. I didn't find any informations about that on the chumby.com website.
