Who's heard of ComicSpace? Yeah, so it's not so much for Avengers and X-Men, but people who make them, fans, whatever.

Anyway, this is me (http://www.comicspace.com/ariastar/).

Who else is there? Send a friend request!

Been meaning to update my Comicspace profile. I am a bad "social networker". Tend to forget I sign up for these things. Am adding everyone in this thread. Y'all seem like a nice enough lot of folks.

Is there a way to organize the friends that show up on your home page? Or to show some but not all? I'm so behind the times on this comicspace thingy.

If you click Manage Account you can change the number of friends displayed. Can't figure out how to order them though.

ditto. And I only have the option to de-friend them since I already made the request. But they aren't on my friend list yet.

fred

not to be a sycophant or anything but, comicspace has recently changed the way that friend requests and their notifications work. If they aren't visiting the site they wouldn't necessarily know that they've gotten requests.

Oh my goodness gracious... you are all wonderful people, but I can barely find the time to read comics and post here. Make you a deal -- let me know if anything fantastic goes on there at comics space, and if I read a good book or see a great movie I'll let you know here on this space... I can barely keep up with you young ones...If something does go on great over at comics space, and I miss it... oh well. I just got in some great comics, just need to find the time to read them...

there is now. it's like they read this board or something.

Anyway, ComicSpace now has a top friends list. I've moved most of my iFanboy people into my top list.

The real question is - when will NewsCorp sue because... c'mon, they're not even trying to be different than MySpace at this point.

I think it will probably be a while. They're so small, it's not like they're eating their lunch at this point. Also, they're not alone. Virb.com just launched recently and it also seems to be pretty similar. There are others too.

I'm not talking conceptually - it's the almost identical in layout and early mysapce functionality. At least other mysapce ripoffs try to make their sites look different...

fred

Yay! iFanboy finnally friended me. I seriously thought I'd done something wrong to earn the cold shoulder.

"Would they really not friend me because I'm not as big of a George Clooney fan as they are?"

Anyways, thanks, guys.

So...what kind of features do we think Comicspace needs to make it a little more worthwhile?

It needs to be more interactive between users - befriending seems so static.

Figuring out how to manage your friends list could have been easier. The fact that I had to ask you all and only ABCG knew how to do it possibly indicates that it could've been easier. Or that girls are smarter than boys.
