Of all the books coming out tomorrow, which one are you most looking forward to?
I'd have to say that for me it's Captain America. Whether the unfounded spoiler rumor is true or not, I am excited to see where they take Cap next. (Doesn't mean that I'll like it, however.)
Right up there with the double-sized issue of Cap is the Mighty Avengers #1. Very interested to see what Bendis is going to do with this title.
Overall, it looks like a great week to be a comic reader.

ive got to agree with the cap pick, i have to see how brubaker is gonna fix this mess,
but ign has an advance review of the mighty avengers and they gave it a MUST READ
http://comics.ign.com/articles/770/770533p1.html
so i think its gonna be really good, those two will probably be the first off my stack
It's a huge week for me but Cap is right at the top

with a Black Pather tie-in. So weird. I'm going to give it one issue and see if it is or not. But you are most likely right about it being a cash-in

Maybe Shazam.
Maybe Cap - I might even buy it instead of waiting for the trade.

For me, it's The Living and the Dead. (http://www.amazon.com/Living-Dead-Jason/dp/1560977949/ref=pd_bbs_sr_1/102-8043298-7982511?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1173205981&sr=8-1) Jason has been a favorite creator of mine since Sshhh!!
The only singles I'm getting are Mighty Avengers and the Initiative and I'm not that excited about either one of them.

I'm also looking forward to Shazam & MSE #2. Last month when #1 came out, I initially wasn't very keen on it. But the iFanboy reviews and this forum persuaded me otherwise. I guess I missed the old classic C.C. Beck art on the title. But I realize that Captain Marvel needs to be reimaged fror a new generation.

Kind of a slow week quality wise for me. I'd say I'm looking forward to WELCOME TO TRANQUILITY the most. That's slowly itching its way up to my top ten current reads.

I'm actually excited about the Initiative, after reading about Slott's plans for the book. It'll involve younger heroes being trained by more experienced ones like Ms. Marvel and Justice (F*CK YEAH, JUSTICE!!). The Young Avengers are in it, it looks pretty cool. Top of my stack.
Mighty A, Cap, Shazam, FF (I'm back to give it a try), and my inner fanboy requires that I read Marvel Zombies vs. Army of Darkness. I have no choice.
Is Uncle Sam any good?

You know, I was looking forward to the Initiative book, and then I realized I'm not entirely sure what it is. They've got me spun right 'round, like a record, baby.
I am definitely eager for Cap #25, half so I can read it and half so people stop saying "just wait till Cap #25!"

Just to salt the wound one more time:
due to popular demand the Initiative has already gone ongoing
and thanks for getting that song stuck in my head - like I needed more reasons to be considered mentally handicapped

Ongoing? Is there really enough support for 3 Avengers books? I mean, they aren't the X-men...

I think Marvel is over-extending on this one.

Normally, on a Wednesday morning I would be getting my happy feet about now, but today is more somber knowing what's coming in Capt. America 25. Oh, I'm still looking forward to getting my books in a couple of hours, but kinda dreading it too.

You know, some people have been avoiding the Captain America spoiler thread on purpose.
