iFanboy: Reommended ABC to Aicn Comics

Just been reading aicn comic article and the indie book of the month was american born chinese and in the review was this quote:

"and I came upon this and remembered some smatterings of praise here and there between places like Brian Bendis' forum and the iFanboy podcast (a great show for those of you looking for another dose of weekly comics talk)."

Awesome to see ifanboy on aicn, but mega awesome that it was in a review of ABC, which was the first GN I brought on a iFanboy recommendation.

Yeah, I figured I should give feedback to this place for that little insight onto that comic. Seriously, I like to think I'm "in the know" as well as or better than most people about comics as anyone out there, but if I'm looking for something new and good, places like this podcast are where I'm going to come for info, not a goddamn Newsarama or a Wizard comic, and I'd like to think more people would be like that too, like I said in my review.

This wasn't the first place I heard about it though, and I'd known about it for a couple months before I ended up reading it, but it was the podcast from here that reminded me about it so I snagged it last time I was in a Barnes and Nobles and figured it was as good a time as any to name drop the podcast since I enjoy it so much.

Just hookin some bruthas up, know what I sayin?

I gotta agree with Humphrey, its all thanks to iFanboy that i spent 300 bucks at amazon last week, ALL ON COMICS! ****.....:(

but i also have to give a shout out to all you guys at the forum, a lot of my orders are also based on the recommendations from the threads on this forum.

here are a few of the books that are coming in the mail:
BECAUSE OF THE PODCAST- my monkey's name is jennifer, gotham central 3 & 4, Project x: nissen cup noodle
BECAUSE OF THE FORUM- strange girl vol1 (that all you fred), astro city (i forgot who mentioned that this was the best place to start, but this is my first astro city), top ten forty niners, bone; one volume edition, pride of bagdad and fortune and glory

can't wait to read them and discuss them with you guys (give me about a year though....argh!)
and guys please stop telling me about great books, i dont think my wallet can take another beating like this!;) :D
