This is what attracts me to Belize

Fred, I can read the top part of your avatar, "In Fred We Trust," but what does the bottom part say?

"In Fred We Trust
All Others Pay Cash"

I believe.

All others pay cash. It's the book "A Christmas Story" comes from.

So, in a cheesy attempt to spin the thread back towards comics, what's the best "Snow" related storyline EVER?!?

Maybe "Whiteout" by Rucka?

(Nice Segue eh?)

That and the Runaways stint in New York.

DC's The Final Night.

Not really, but it's all I could think of.

It does indeed say 'In Fred we Trust, All Others Pay Cash'

Was thinking of dropping the text so that I could go with the sig 'Do you like my brown eye?'

That's classy!

the problem here is that the city will come through today and leave me a brand new 5 foot snowbank at the bottom of my driveway. Would LOVE to leave nails at the bottom of my driveway if I didn't know it would ultimately probably **** me

BTW, I've had and I'm moving to Belize. Does anyone know if they have high-speed internet there?

Not 30 minutes after this post - it came true. 3 feet of slush at the bottom of my driveway. I think I invented obscenities.

My parents just moved to Nashville and kept emphasizing this winter how they never have snow there. We didn't have all that much in STL and I'd consider going there just for that. I think I'd go crazy in NY snow.

I want to see NY snow just once.. I don't want to live in it.. I love my California sun. :)

Anywho, good time to jump on Green Lantern. Also, the last few issues of Green Arrow as well.. :)

Totally concur on both. I'm very sad that GA is ending soon. :(

Rumor on the GA book is that it is not so much ending as ah, transforming.

welcome tavella

Thanks!

And yeah, GA suits Winick; it's a comic where if he goes off on an social-issue-of-the-week kick, it absolutely fits in because well, that's Ollie.

I just don't want (spoilers)

Black Canary to get subsumed. It's way too easy to turn a wife/girlfriend into Yet Another Person To Be Threatened.

Hmm, is there a way to spoiler better than changing text color?

I just got home from hanging out with Josh and Ron and parking is obviously hellish due to the snow and after circling and circling the neighborhood I finally found a spot that wasn't too badly plowed in and I tried to get in and the tires spun so I backed out, surveyed the snow bank, backed up a few car lengths and gunned it over the snow bank. I had to time it just right because if I didn't turn the wheel in time I was going to end up in the store that the spot was in front of. Luckily I turned the wheel in time and the snow slowed my forward progress enough and I did not end up parked inside Extreme Video.

Now I celebrate with beer.

Not really. We don't really like spoilers here, though, and if they have to be posted we prefer it be done with a link so that people can choose to read it for themselves.

Although what you posted isn't a spoiler, it's been public knowledge for a while now.

It's not a rumor if you've seen our Wonder Con interview with Judd Winick...

Conor, are you familiar with Tucker Max? He wrote a story where he actually ended up parked inside a donut shop (http://www.tuckermax.com/archives/entries/date/the_absinthe_donuts_story.phtml#280). It's pretty funny.

Also. Extreme Video? Porn?

I get the feeling from the various podcasts that this is the way a lot of days end around the Kilpatrick household.

Fred, every time I look at your avatar now, I feel like you are giving me the evil eye. But I guess that's still better than giving me the middle finger. :D

Well, I was trying to be conservative. Some people consider anything about upcoming comics to be spoilers.

I'm sure they have porn, but no, it's just a regular video (DVD) store. I haven't been there in years even though it is a block from my apartment. Not since NetFlix.

No big deal. You did fine. :)

Check out this thread (http://www.revision3.com/forum/showthread.php?t=4413&highlight=Green+Arrow), we discuss all the upcoming Green Arrow/Black Canary stuff.

it's a very 'porn-eriffic' name. Do they instead sell Moutain Dew?

If I were GA I would put the ring on one of my arrows and shoot it into a tree just to her left.

Then again, I'd probably also use my expert combat skills for evil and obtaining free stereo equipment
