I'm just wondering, apparently the Vista Upgrade Disk that comes with any pre-installed Vista machine has all editions from Starter to Ultimate, so has anyone come up with a way to upgrade to Ultimate for free from any edition?
I heard of those stop/timer crack things for the beta editions, but I tried one before and I got locked out of my OS, probably skipped a line ahead while following the tutorial. Now I have a legit copy of Vista Home Basic with only 512mb of RAM though and I wanna upgrade it, if 512 won't let Ultimate run, I don't mind at least Premium.
