is there any freeware that you can use to set a video clip as your desktop on a windows machine?

you could always embed the video clip into a webpage and then set the webpage as your remote desktop.

Why do people want to do this? Just wondering because I have never seen a good use for it.

because it's awesome... seriously it is, if you get a small loop video and are not retarded and try to do like a tv show or something. Take a look at the Dreamscene Content Pack Microsoft released for Vista Ultimate users - http://itsvista.com/2007/03/microsoft-releases-dreamscene-content-pack/

Actually that would be pretty cool, I guess I have only seen retarded put stupid loops that made using your computer the most difficult task know to man.

You can also use bsplayer. Make sure you get the older version, before 1.38.
