Hi, I am Jens from Cologne (GER). My favorite show will always be Magnum PI (hence my nickname) but then comes rev3 with great shows like TRS.
I just recently discussed with a friend how we would call our "80s" gerneration? Since I watch the TRS show I would say "generation rad". I'd like that.
@ endoftheline: I love your illustration of Natalie Portman's Leon appearance. Lovely piece of art.

I am monkee13 and I have been a rev3 fan since its begining. I have also been an Alex fan since ScreenSaver and Dell ads (the butt out the window still makes me laugh). I finally joined the forum to comment on episode 6, join the book club, and post my GoRaddy entry http://www.alexbentmywookie.com (it makes sense if you "got" the into to episode 6).
I look forward to getting more involved here and at the diggnation forum too.
I got my wife hooked on diggnation and just loaded up her ipod with all 6 episodes of TRS I can't wait to hear her comments (she is a big Alex fan).
Stay Rad.......

Hey guys, I'm Oli.
My first Revision3 experience was a few months ago when I downloaded a few Pixel Perfect episodes from my ISP's gaming website. Loved them and decided to check out TRS and soon after Diggnation.
I'm hooked. Each week when the new shows come out I download them right away and check them out. I think Alex, Jeff and Dan are awesome show hosts and they're really talented. The first time I saw the video games section intro, I laughed my arse off as Dan and his pansy Karate Kid stance got rejected for Jeff and then again when Dan popped out ala Noob Saibot and did the whole "VIDEO GAAAAAAAAAMES" thing. :D Hahah, what a classic.
I can't talk highly enough about these guys and the show - I love it.
So back to me. I'm 26 from Sydney, Australia. I am finishing up a Bachelor of Science degree this year and then hoping to enroll in post-grad Pharmacy for next year as I currently work in a Chemist/Pharmacy (think Americans call them Drug Stores?).
As for my gaming experience, I'll just list off the recent stuff. I played DAOC (Dark Age of Camelot) for about 3-4 years. Then I played WoW for beta plus 3 months but then quit due to crappy server performance and customer service. When they opened up some servers for Australian players (the oceanic ones) I went back and played extremely hardcore full time for around a year. Between those MMOs, I played games such as Tribes 2, BF2, etc.
Well, that's pretty much me for now. :)
- Oli.

I'm Rob from Adelaide Australia, also known here as RADelaide, ehehe. I'm Diggnation fan that has gone to check out the TRS and so far I'm liking it more and more with every new show.
The only problem I have with all these Revision 3 shows is in AU we have very limited amounts of bandwidth each month (12GB a month for me), so I have to wait for my ISP to host TRS so it doesn't count to my downloads because it's a huge show!
Good to see Jeff and Dan ease into their spots, in ep1 it was all Alex, but I guess that's due to the fact he's been doing this podcasting thing for a while.
Rock on! \m/

Hi everyone,
I'm Laurent, from Paris, France.
I've been a big fan of DiggNation since last summer and also of Geekdrome which I discovered only a few months before it ends.
When I heard Alex, Dan and Jeff would team up for a new show I was overjoyed, especially since I regretted the Geekdrome days (I really loved the Geekdrome episode the three of them hosted once).
The name of the show fits really well 'coz Alex, Dan and Jeff (and the crew) really do a great job. Now I can't wait for my weekly fix of pure "radness".
Although I play a lot less video games than a few years ago, I now watch a lot more tv shows. That's why the tv segment (or section ? :) ) is my favourite. But the rest of the show is just as awesome. Thanks to these guys I discovered great movies (like The Prestige) and a great animated series (Avatar, the best anime I've watched in a very long time).
So, thank you guys for making this show so rad and keep up the good work.

Aloha from Hawaii, been a long time fan of diggnation and the drome. I followed JL on his ventures with scape but I think I really found a home in TRS. Danny T FTW. I work in a hospital PBX and I TRY to explain what kind of show this is to the doctors and nurses here but, nobody seems to get the point. Their lost. I hardly ever do the forum thing but after the Avatar: The Last Airbender reference it was game on. Dang, Wednesday seems so far away for another dose.
P.S. I am a Native Hawaiian and NO I do not live in a grass hut. Aloha.
Bret from Illinois. Watcher of TechTV going back a ways...followed Pretty much every podcast Leo Laporte does as well as Revision3. DiggNation fan since the 1st episode, followed Alex over to TRS. Safe to say TRS is better than DiggNation hands down. But then again they are two different beast's.

Stopping in to say hi. I still have to find a good profile pic and come up with a sig, it's been a long time since I was last into forums.
Got into TRS through DiggNation. Although I am an all out "geek" I didn't get an Ipod until earlier this year. The Ipod got me into podcast which in turn introduced me to Digg and everything 2.0, I don't know how I went so long without it.

South Jersey or South-Central? I consider anything south of Jackson (where I'm at) south, anything North of the Parkway/9 bridges north and the rest central. Or you could be Jersey Shore.
Anyone notice that most of the people within 30 miles of the shore on facebook joins the Jersey Shore group? What up with that?

Hello all, I'm Rick, I found out about TRS through diggnation. I was watching DirectTV when ZDNet first started airing on it and didn't think the channel would catch on. Now I am downloading tech podcasts and posting in their forums. I live in Canada and I work in Television and I'm trying to break into Films as a producer. I'm writing my first screenplay, and I'm interested in creating content for the 18-34 male demogrpahic, cause I'm selfish like that.

I am Darkfiend... dweller of the underbelly of Los Angeles. I come here from the now long forgotten days of TechTV. I was fortunate enough to make it to a few tapings of TSS/ATOS and Unscrewed back when they had audiences and were on the air and all...rofl. I got to meet Kevin a few times... Martin a few times... Alex only like once, which sucks because he was my favorite. I suppose I came to Diggnation to see what it was all about when it first started up, as once Kevin left G4 I more or less payed more attention to what he was doing then the network. I started checking out Digg on a daily basis... then I heard about this new Podcast that they were doing.... here I am, waiting for Episode 100....

Checking email at a friend's house, perused their iTunes folder and came across Diggnation several months ago. Curious what it was. Got hooked. Crossed over from there and the ctrl+alt to here.
Where obviously the swooning ensued.

WAZZUP?!!! My name is TheMentalTeen aka TMT and is on a couple of sites actually. I found out about the Totally Rad Show when a friend on the internet was just talking about a couple of shows mentioning my favorite show, Avatar: The Last Airbender. I decided "Ah, what the hell" and watched the episodes, and loved the useful information and episodes. And I'm really jealous that the 3 got to go to the Star Wars 30th Anniversary Celebration and I couldn't. :(
Also I'm known as DaMentalTeen on the PS3. I play Call of Duty 3 sometimes and like to use machine guns and not cheap bazookas, unless the level has tons of tanks.

Hello, Im magicstorm from sunny Puerto Rico, I have been hearing Diggnation from the start, actually started from TwiT #1 when it was not named TwiT... I was sad when geekdrome stopped, but find out about tsr thru Alex in digg.. and here I am... :)
I like to watch TV, play video games, work with computers, reading and playing a miniature game called Warmachine :D
I also saw the first episode of TWiT (ROTSS), watched SYSTM, and then discovered DiggNation. Huge fan of diggnation so that's how I found this show. Keep up the awesome work, guys!
I'm iRad, because I am. ;)

I've been a fan of Diggnation for awhile. One night when I couldn't sleep I went to the Revision3 site and watched some of the other shows. I loved the Totally Rad Show, and promptly added it to my iTunes podcast list.

Hi i'm dr-nix (think dr no, the hyphen (-) came into play when mirc didn't like the space (waay back when mirc was new)) and i come from Sweden.
I found these programs (trs, diggnation and so on) via video.google.com when i was searching for some linux video and i stumbled upon dl.tv, from that show i found out about crankygeeks which i finally gave a chance and liked straight away. From Crankygeeks (i think) i found out about diggnation (i had no idea what so ever what digg.com was, i don't blog or anything like that (i don't understand why they can't just call it webblog, people are so lazy sometimes)). And in one of the diggnation eps i found out about the upcoming TotallyRadShow.

INT. INTERNET FORUM FOR TOTALLY RAD SHOW.
There are hundreds of people all sitting in cheap stackable chairs in a loose circle. It's an uneasy quiet. The hum of florescent lights. It looks like an AA meeting.
A bald, thirty-something man with a goatee and dark framed glasses stands up and looks around awkwardly.
FRIEDGEEK
"Hello, my name is FriedGeek."
ROOM
"We love you FriedGeek."
FriedGeek pauses.
FRIEDGEEK
"I .... I didn't actually come to be a TRS fan until episode eleven."
SLOW PAN OF THE WHOLE ROOM FROM JUST ABOVE EYE LEVEL.
Some unreadable looks from others in the room. Some nods. Others just stare down.

Hey All, I'm Eric...I used to post occasionally at the old Geekdrome forums and now I'm getting back into the whole posting thang due to my love of the TRShow. I would desrcibe myself as a somewhat witty, occasionally charming, 30 something ( who looks 20 something! ) gay uber-nerd. I'm a huge comic-book/movie geek, however video games ain't my thing ( and when people ask why, I just tell them I simply can't have fun with anything that constantly requires me to make decisions ) I love Shakey's Pizza and Coldstone Creamery. I realize this has turned from an introduction to a bad personals ad.
Feel free to cyber-stalk me at www.myspace.com/ericansleydiaz

06-28-2007, 08:24 AM
Hey. I go by the name "Sheir," and have stuck with this silly pseudonym through various excruciating mispronunciations and misspellings.
I write and film and write and film. Occasionally I sleep. I listen to indie music and sometimes I flirt with your girlfriend. It's nothing personal. I like Wikipedia, Macs, and pictures of cats. I dislike communism, boring people and anyone with a lack of ambition. The only thing I hate is the movie The Master of Disguise.
One day I'll be rich. My house will have no stairs, just Slip 'n Slides to go downstairs and personal, miniature helicopters to go up. There will be a room filled with pillows, with a projector pointed at the ceiling, and good movies will play all day. You're invited.
I'm not a misogynist, but I give great massages.
That's pretty much me.

Hello TRS fanboys and girls. I'm an aspiring Canadian film maker who has worked in the games industry for about a year now. I've been watching diggnation over the past year which has inspired me to come up with some ideas for a podcast which will begin shooting in the near future.
Have you guys ever thought about having some sort of contest where the winners get an invite into an xbox 360 multiplayer FPS such as Call of Duty 2, 3, or 4 (when it's released?)

Stumbled upon, TRS, when Itunes crashed I was re-subscribing to "Ask A Ninja" saw a link to TRS podcast, I think my first episode was 10, since then I've devoured all the past episodes and just finished the latest one, episode 14, last night.
The show is totally rad, its so great to find a show about the things I love that doesn't feel like the cool kids slumming or smell like Cheeto's and loneliness.

Hey guys, im Iccanui. I have been a long time watcher of the geek shows since TS back in Tech TV so i guess i been following this stuff for a while. Its amazing whats going on and in a way i wonder if tectv going down was a good thing cause this all might not have existed.
Anyway, just gotta say, im really starting to dig the show, the intro, the banter, the topics, i love it. Best of all watching how you all kinda rib each other but in the end support each other and dont really rip each other up is so refreshing. I feel like when i watch the show that if i knew you all in real life we would be great friends and thats a good feeling that your conveying. i dont know how you feel deep down, but this show is the bomb. I anxiously wait for it each week. So you have my heart felt thank you for providing such a great place to geek out too. Hell im even thinking about starting on comics.
Anyway thnx again for the great shows, please dont stop. :)

This is Enigma all around Geek I love Digg, TRS, and The Broken.
basically I'm an uber geek about anything random and exciting but here are some examples of my base interests.
Music ( I'm a total Elitist Snob about it ), Video Games, Film ( The score in 300 was alright could have been more epic though), Photography, TV ( Let's talk about the greatest show on tv...The Shield lol ah Jeff you have no idea how much that annoys my girlfriend). gosh the list goes on anyhow hi guys.

Ok, so i enjoy Diggnation, ran into Kevin 3 times in SF actually (bars), TRS now too. Im a grad student at Cal (study: Molecular Toxicology) by day, bartender at night (toxicology field work).
I have to admit im not as up to date on most of the topics in discussion here. I only have PS2 w/ 3 games, 1Ghz PC, never owned a comic book. Passionate about fixing old bikes, wine, kilts, and oh, not a NRA nut (despite pic).
Hence, I cant add much to discussions here. At heart though i am a geek, and i really just enjoy listening to the witty dialog/banter of both podcasts.
My reason for signing up to forums/posting, is im gettin kinda irritated with the defensive posturing that seems to precede every honest yet negative review.
Its always great to see people who are so passionate about something really speak their mind, especially Jeff's review of transformers. Here's a overused yet relevant quote:
"Do what you think and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter, and those who matter don't mind."
~Dr. Seuss (or was it Richard Bach?)
Oh, here's my suggestion for the *questions* part... Its called better/worse. I ask a "X or Y" question. next person says which is better, then asks another X or Y question. I can start one... the unavoidable one:
"Pirate or Ninja?"
## next reply posts their answer, and another X/Y question##
NOTE: explanations are NOT required, use them with care.

Hey,
Been watchin' since Screen Savers days and they are badly missed...love all of the R3 shows but mostly just keep up with Diggnation, TRS, InDigital, Systm, thebroken and CAC.
Came up with the screen name when watching the boys disagree about various movies and pick them apart for their various deficiencies. Turns out that I like MOST movies...even the bad ones. I love to be entertained. I even enjoyed The Core (yes, even with it's predictability and bad acting) and have only had to stop watching one movie: Me, Myself and Irene.
Fortunately, movies are the only thing I am a whore in...well, I am a kind of technology whore...but most of us are that anyway so that would be kinda normal...

Love watching Diggnation and TRS. Funny guys, great way to get the news. Keeps my mind occupied while I am working on other things (prerequesite multitasker!)
Hi I'm Chris, but almost everyone calls me Tof (sounds like Toph, eg Topher Grace). From Northern NJ (should have kept that private?). Was a HUGEEE TechTV fan while in college (graduated May 06, Susquehanna Univ w00t) and followed Kevin onto his other projects. Was obviously a huge fan of thebroken, because if you weren't, you had no soul. Joined digg probably as early as anyone possibly could (December 5, 2004 according to www.digg.com/users/tofaroni/profile), and have of course been watching Diggnation since it's inception, which of course led me to TRS. Gotta say, it might have taken Diggnation's spot at #1 for me -- love every aspect of it!
Anyway that's me. I think I've gone on too long already. Get to know me if you want more. >_<

krash
07-19-2007, 05:46 AM
I'm krash (people in real life call me this as well, since most can't pronounce my real name properly) and I've watched The Totally Rad Show since episode 1. I was a big fan of The Screen Savers, which I watched on digital Satellite here in Australia on TechTV, but when I got it was about the time G4 took over etc, and the channel got taken off here.
I then got into watching the diggnation podcasts and now watch TRS.
I'm also known as an Amigan, since I still use my Amiga 4000 with Cyberstorm PPC CPU card for some stuff and still stay reasonably active in the Amiga community. The developers who made Super Stardust HD for the PS3, actually made the original on the Amiga (CD32, Amiga 1200) back in the day (mid 90's).
I own an Xbox 360 (gamertag krashxr6t, but not subscribed to live! anymore since it's pretty much broken in Australia), which I haven't bothered to turn on in almost a year. I also own a PS3 (PSN name Krashxr6t) and it's my primary gaming box. Currently playing Super Stardust HD, Ninja Gaiden Sigma.
I do my PC gaming on a gaming rig I built about 3-4 months ago. AMD Athlon 64 x 2 6000+ overclocked to 3.3Ghz, 2GB RAM, 2 x 640MB 8800GTS's in SLI (the 8800GTX's were too hard to come by when I built the system), 4 x 320GB SATA drives in RAID 0+1, Antec P180 case (so quiet). Current PC games, World of Warcraft, Test Drive Unlimited and Colin McRae Dirt (so damn awesome).
I do my normal everyday stuff on my MacBook Pro.
I thought Spiderman 3 was lame (reporter in the end "live" ruined it for me especially). I thought Transformers could've been better, but it was still worth the price of admission ($15 AUD).
I also saw that youtube clip which gives away every key point and what page it was on in the latest harry Potter book. It even had the last line in the book and I didn't care.
I'm rambling, so I'll stop.
Anyways...

I was listening to the audio versions for a couple months but I upgraded to a video Ipod so now I get the full glory of both podcasts. I am a complete movie, tv and video game geek, I get weird looks from my family for knowing actors names in movies. I love action movies, comedies, as for TV I'm a huge fan of 24 (this last season was terrible however), Lost (It's back, baby!), Heroes, The Office, Arrested Development (Fox should be charged with a felony). Finally games, Resident Evil 4, SNES, Guitar Hero, Call of Duty, Freedom Fighters and Burnout. That's about me in a nutshell, talk to you all soon.
p.s. Shameless plug but check out my show at http://www.kickassmoviepodcast.com
If you love action movies, comedies, 80's and cheese than check it out. Our episode on the movie "Tombstone" was just released a couple of weeks ago. We're on iTunes as well, so come visit!

Indie films make the world go round.
And sadly I'm not good at tennis but I am a pro at Wii Tennis which is kind of sad when you think about it...

Hello. I'm Will and I'm not from England. I've enjoyed Diggnation pretty much from day 1. The Totally Rad Show is yet another fantastic nugget of entertainment I get to enjoy each and every week. I like to cook and read and eat cheese. The cheese causes me to have crazy dreams when I eat it right before I go to sleep. Skeet Skeet Skeet!

Hey all,
My name is Ryan (Deegraww is my old SWG character name) 25 year old bloke out of Raleigh NC. I play guitar in two cover bands in the area. I'm into Comic, Movies, Music, TV and books. I like to know a little bit about everything so I can be really dangerous. I'm a horrible speller but I want to write a book (Which I already have a few chapters of). I'm looking at going back to school for web design I think that is one of my callings.
Anyway I was a fan of TSS and started watching Digg once it was out. Watched CAC and TRS because Alex would talk about it on Digg. New to these forums but glad to be here. You guys help me get through my work day and I hope it stays that way.
I'll leave it at that I talk to much.

Discovered digg/diggnation while on a gaming site. They had a clip to the diggnation episode where Guitar Heroe for Wii was announced I believe. Though I'm not a computer savy geek beyond the basics, I'm deffently on the movie/gaming/comic side and thought it was very cool and entertaining. Been hooked since and even more so for TRS when it debued.

Just one thing you have to know about me, I'm pretentious, I make it known, so it's not really worth mentioning :/

I'm Brad, and the simple truth is that it has been a long migration from the days of The Screen Savers to DL.TV and now to Diggnation and Totally Rad. I've been watching for a while, but its the first day in the forums... Obviously, I've missed out on a lot.
In general, I'm almost always writing about cars or videogames somewhere, so this isn't any kind of major change for me. I'm currently attempting to get a Bachelor's Degree at Aquinas College in Grand Rapids, Michigan with a major in Political Science and a minor in History.
I'm looking forward to hanging around here...

i'm Mirco, tuning in from Germany. i'm a fan of diggnation and the trs. I'm not a gamer, i like movies but hate to watch the dubbed german versions. (by the way listening to german bad guys i.e. in die hard is very funny, even as funny as reading my english?)
problem for me: the tv section, i rarely have a chance to see these shows. but there is a solution :D
There are just a few webtv shows around here (not speaking of rad). oh wait, they made a copy of diggnation, lots of non-existing humor, two mac geeks, no PCs. They even drink beers, how bad is this?

I'm Danny. I started watching Diggnation about a year ago and thought I'd give TTRS a try. Happily, the show has remained fresh ever since episode 1. I appreciate the fact that these guys are not only knowledgeable about the topics they discuss, but that they enjoy the things they talk about too.
My biggest hobby is video games and video game collecting and I have around 500 games from consoles old and new.
Professionally, I am a graphic artist working in advertising and publishing for a major telephone company. I specialize in photoshop and illustrator.
Keep up the good work guys. Love the show.

Hey all - my name is Rick and I just discovered TRS within the last few days (and absolutely loving it). I was a big fan of TechTV and TSS and very disappointed when G4 destroyed it all. Anyway... can't wait to see more TRS and, in general, how R3 develops in the coming months.

Long time Diggnation listener and finally decided to give TRS a chance after hearing about it for a while.
Not bad. Lot of topics I like. The nonstop background change gets nauseating, camera work with 3 hosts is ackward. good interplay but alex's two co-hosts look like they are two Shirley Temple's away from lathering themselves up with Crisco and reenacting the Joe Rogan bodybuilders bit.
Its always ackward watching a show where there is sexual tension and its only 3 guys and lets face it, any show where alex is the most manly one has some issues but it was interesting.
Hint: interesting topics that are well research and debated is what its about.
I was expecting more of a frat boy production but must say I was surprised by the show. Definitely going to watch some more. (or until the other two start fondling each other.) Maybe having a totally hot babe with minimal clothing to introduce the new segments would make this less of a sausage fest.

Long time viewer from the old days when Kevin was filmed for Television and Leo was easily found on expanded US Cable channels. :)
Bought a video iPod for Christmas and once I took a new job that found me travelling constantly, a friend pointed me in the direction of Diggnation. A few short day after that, I made my own way to Revision3 and found TRS.
A fun time is to be had by all with this show and the only problem I've had with the show is that while watching on an airplane, I occasionally have to stifle a laugh that is trying to come out. Maniacal laughter on a plane is apparently frowned upon these days.
I love the fact that the backgrounds give me a sense of what is being talked about and you start to see them as set pieces, not just art. The user created backgrounds for the opening of the show is cool. I like the little movie recreations at the tops of every episode. (I assume this gives Jeff and Dan a chance to flex their creative movie making muscles.) All in all.. good stuff.
Oh.. Sam in Hoffman (about 30% of the time). Video Gamer.. MMO Player... recently took the plunge back into comics after a 20 year absence from the scene (not too old.. I'm only 30.. it's been a while since I bought a comic.) Read the Watchmen because of TRS and enjoyed every page of it. Thought there should have been a better pay off. Seemed to be a downer.

Wtf? And if you're gonna criticize it so much you should at least spell 'awkward' right. First of all, it's not Alex's show...it's all three of them equally. And for the background changes, there are 3, one for each segment..meant to be interesting and fun for the audience. It's not like they're moving around and crazy to be 'nauseating'. And you think Alex is the manliest? The sexual tension you 'see' is probably them just joking around..either that or you don't understand their humor, which is rather unfortunate. Oh..and what's with your 'hint' about well researched topics? Of course they know what they're talking about to some extent, but they never claimed to be experts..the show is about three buddies talking about and doing what they would normally be doing anyway, just in front of a camera. I have discussed this several times with Jeff personally. Anyway, I'm glad you're going to keep watching despite all the criticism, and I don't mean to be mean about this rebuttle, I just felt the need to stick up for my boys here.

New here as well!
As I posted in a different thread, I came across TRS looking for podcasts about gaming (most are snoozers). I have been very pleased with TRS and its currently my favorite :)
Anyhow, as I said, I'm a gamer - mostly MMOs. I currently play Wow - I have also played EQ, EQ2, CoH, LOTRO, and have been playing around on Tabula Rasa. Beta. But of course, I play many other things - currently waiting for then next best Wii game.
But other than gaming - music, movies, and technology are my passions. Makes TRS an easy sell for me.
Looking forward to more episodes. Rock on.

Anyways, I am Patch (which is what I hail by in all walks of life). I'm from around Redmond Washington. If I threw a rock from were I live, I could probably hit Microsoft. Okay, that's a lie. I can't throw that well, but I'm sure I could hit an employee.
I've been watching TRS from the start. Diggnation almost from episode one, and The Screen Savers back in the day before it was brutally raped and murdered.
General geeky interests I guess. Books (Most anything), video games, music, movies, T.V. and, maybe not so general, I attend a Ren faire almost yearly in my full pirate regalia.
Even tho I think the TRS hosts are plotting something diabolical. I still love the show.

It's from a movie called The Great Dictator written and acted by Charlie Chaplin..he plays Hitler and basically his (good) twin brother who get mixed up and it's part of a speech he gives to his troops. Look it up, one of the most amazing speeches I've ever read, and a lot of it still rings true to this day.

my name is Alex fan of the Old Screensavers, Diggnation, TRS
gonzooo
08-24-2007, 03:24 PM
I guess I should introduce myself, I'd be itching to do it after a while anyway...
The name's Rickard Andersson, though not many people use anything other than the pseudonym Gonz, short for GoNZooo (as you might've already guessed...). I don't prefer any of the names, as long as people aren't weird about it. I'm 20 years old, from Sweden.
I've watched all the episodes of Diggnation so far, but I started somewhere around 20 or so, and just caught up, and since episode 1 of TRS I'm a big fan.
I'm a geek by most definitions: My persistant hobby and (hopefully) future is programming. My interest lies mainly in AI and network code and I hope to find work in AI in the future.
In terms of music I listen to pretty much anything, as long as I find it beautiful or otherwise stimulating. I decided to drop the idea that playing with "real instrument" was a pre-requisite for good music when I grew up and since then it's been all about finding something that conjures some type of emotion. One of my favorite genres is chiptunes and my favorite artists in that area are probably "Dubmood", "047" and "Chock of Maniax".
I have a slightly childish tendency to love any movie about the Mafia, although I feel many of them are genuinely good movies. Outside of that I prefer movies that stir up emotions and if a movie does it good enough I have no reservations against crying or displaying any kind of extreme emotion, if I'm alone or in especially good company.
I think it's customary to share some kind of oddity about yourself so here's mine:
I am probably the only one I know of that actually liked the movie "A.I." by Spielberg. I've only seen some kind of special version of the movie where the film doesn't end with the blue fairy, but continues beyond that and while trying not to spoil this for anyone I can at least say that there's a scene after that that I think is so beautiful and sad I can't help but cry. I've never felt anything quite like what I feel at the end of "A.I." with any other movie and it's something really special to me, that I know no review or other opinion can take away from.
Edit:
I just looked for some info on the endings of "A.I." and it seems I am wrong about the "special" version. I'm not entirely sure if it exists now or not. If anyone could just verify it's existance or not I'd really appreciate it. (A PM or something, or just write in this thread if that's allowed.)

Matt here,
Started watching diggnation back at episode 3 or 4. Now I am a huge fan of TRS.
I think the hosts have the best chemistry of any modern variety show, tech show, movie review show, etc. These guys are completely of my generation and I get the humor completely.
Even more, this is the only show I know of where I actually go out and try things that they recommend (surrogates, xbox live games, movies... I would have NEVER seen Transformers in a theater without their review.)
So that about sums up my fanboy rant.
Hello all!

I am probably the only one I know of that actually liked the movie "A.I." by Spielberg.
I'm not sure if you can say you know me.. as I'm just a posting on a message board, but I enjoyed AI when I saw it in the theatres. I thought it ended on such a weird note but it didn't change my positive opinion of the movie. haley joel osment was creepy as was the talking bear, but Jude Law was cool in the movie and the story of the movie definitely did its job adequately. It wasn't "Water World" by any stretch of the imagination. :)

What's goin' on my name is Joe, born and raised in NYC. Came across Digg one day in my dorm room at school and somehow found out about diggnation and was hooked immediately. Started watching TRS from episode one and really dig the format and the wide variety of topics.
Recent college grad, still playing videogames casually, I like Alex am a social butterfly that enjoys the co-op experience. XBL Gamertag: thenotorious426.
Trying to get back into comic books, thinking about trying the Astonishing X-men books as recommended on TRS.

Hello there, all.
Random info;
My name is Nikki. I'm 31 and from South Florida.
I have a crush on Alex (sorry Alex's girlfriend!).
I'm nowhere near as tech savvy as most of you and I'm also probably not as fanatical so cut me some slack when I make mistakes. :)
My boyfriend John showed me Digg a while back but it wasn't untill I quit playing World of Warcraft a few months ago that I really started reading it.
Of course I loved it and started watching Diggnation. Then John introduced me to The Totally Rad Show. :)
With all this non WoW playing time on my hands I was finding myself at a loss for things to do!
Not anymore! Thanks guys for all the entertainment and fun. <3

Hey guys!
Names Jon, from Macon Georgia. Started listening to the TRS the past 3 days, I download 2-3 episodes to take to work with me. (I work at target). People now think Im nutz at work because I was listening to the comic-con show and the jack-off or get raped part happened and I was laughing so loud the a co-worker asked me if I was ok. Dont worry, I didnt get fired.
Anyways keep up the good work!

Oi Oi Savaloy!
like most here have watched TRS since the start and have lurked around the forums for a while, I have pretty much followed Alex & Kevin R. from The Screensavers/AOTS (that show used to be rad with them on it) to here.
Just posted my first thread about the totally rad, Doctor Who.
I'm a Brit by birth, but moved to Canada in my twenties and have never looked back.

Hey everyone, it's great to finally "be" here! Diggnation got me started with Rev3, then I moved onto GeekDrome, TRS, Ctrl+Alt+Chicken and iFanboy.
I've been eating up nearly everything Rev3 has to offer for a while now, but I've only just now made a profile. I figured it was time to participate!
Props to all my fellow nerds, geeks, dorks and weirdos out there who make this website as awesome and unique as it is!

Hey, The name's Ryan, I'm from Toronto, Canada. And I'm an OG Rev3 fan. Been here since they had that nice little white page with only a few shows. (theBroken, systm, etc.)
TRS kicks more ass than a tag team duo of Batman and Chuck Norris.
Oh, and btw....come visit the TRS IRC Chatroom on EFNet (shameless plug);)

Hello hello! I'm not totally new here, but I just recently had a TRS marathon over the Labor Day weekend, and I loved every minute of it. In fact, I think I'll start from the beginning yet again. (Ok, I'm not that hardcore...ok, maybe just the first episode because I don't remember it, lol.)
Can't wait for the next episode (as always).

My name is Damien, I enjoy long walks on the beach and drinking international coffees with my friends while we reminisce about that one time in Paris... what was that waiter's name? Jean-Luc!!!! *Giggle*
Ok, in all honestly I am just your average Satellite of Love Lovin, Comic Book Devouring, TV and Movie Whoring, Music blasting and Book Osmosing geek boy. I am a rogue, a priest and a warlock (Yes your opinion of me was not helped by that I am sure...and yes the wife finds that completely unsexy, but I handle the laundry and that makes her love me long time)
Got the wife, the kids, the job and a crud load of free time... the wife keeps me away from both sharp and shiny objects.
*edit... and as you can see by my post title... Hukt on Fonix Werkt Fer Mee
