I pass through Xenia, Ohio on my way down to college and it always makes me think of that movie. It's so freaking weird and indie, but randomly hilarious. I used to sing that rooster song all the time.

Hey guys, names James.
I'm an old school TSS fan and have been keeping up with Diggnation since virtually the beginning. However when I found out there was going to be another podcast staring Alex and his friends where they would give their reviews of games and movies too, heheh, I jumped on that immediately.
Been subscribed to TRS on iTunes since it was first available and haven't missed an episode since. Actually, Diggnation used to be my most anticipated podcast of the week but now I find myself much more excited to see the next episode of TRS than Diggnation. I still watch them both though, keep up the excellent work guys.
Also, I'd love to see you guys talk about some of your more obscure favorite movies, I've checked out a lot of the ones Dan's thrown out, like "Intacto," and loved them. Bring me more!
Hi I'm Michael, aka Kiey.
I've been a TRS fan since the start, Geekdrome before that, Diggnation and TSS before that.
Other then that I'm the writer of a webcomic called Quest to Nowhere: Wanwamar (http://www.questtonowhere.com).

Hello everyone out there!! I've been a huge fan and paying contributor to Rev3 since the beginning! I loved the Drome up until we all figured out the inevitable. I do have my shirt still though. Love the TRS, Diggnation is usually very entertaining, love iFanboy, and love the new Systm. I just got Warhawk for PS3 so I'll be looking for people to play that with. Other than that I'm a chilled out laid back kinda guy. I live in St. Louis, MO and I work in IT.

Hey,
I'm Jimmy and I live in Southern Indiana, I'm a huge gamer, mainly PC, but consoles are great to. I only have a X360 unfortunately but within the year I should have all three consoles. I'd like to say I'm extremely jealous Dan and Jeff bought Alex a PS3 and that an awesome viewer bought him a Wii(if I remember right). Not to mention the trip to England.
I've watched all the shows and you guys turned me back onto comics, which I haven't read since I was a young boy. The Surrogates was amazing and I'm still browsing around the forums looking for more good comics to read. Not really classic superhero comics like Superman and Spider-man, but more Sci-fi(ish). Thanks!
Love the show

Hey, my name's Murray, I'm from Scotland.
Thought I'd join on here, been watching the show from episode 1 and they mention it every episode so I had to at some point.
My favourite movie is Lost in Translation, favourite band is Led Zeppelin (but my musical taste is by no means limited to Rock) and my favourite TV show is probably Arrested Development.
Anyway, this helps in getting my first post out of the way, and I'll start participating in the topics now.

I have been watching Diggnation since its inception and decided to check out The Totally Rad Show after hearing Alex's "plea" in a recent Diggnation episode. I do enjoy comic books, TV, movies, and videogames. I downloaded and watched episodes 20-24 and enjoyed them immensely. It is gratifying to hear reviews about topics I am interested in and by males from my age group (I use the term "age group" loosely as I am probably older than any of them). This brings me to a question - are there threads in this forum regarding the history or bios of Jeff and Dan? I know some about Alex considering I have been watching him since The Screen Savers.
Well, glad to be a part of this great and enthusiastic community.

Hullo everyone! I've been a fan of TRS for a little while now, and I decided to finally join the forums.
As far as my background goes, I am a 19 year old aspiring filmmaker and college student from the Washington DC area. I've been a gamer since the age of 2, and I have been making short films ever since my mom bought me a Tyco play cam when I was 11.
So yeah, Totally Rad Show rules!

Whats up everyone. I'm finally getting a chance to post in the forums. I have been watching the show from the first episode and I look forward every week for a new one. Well I will see you around in the forums.
I'm new to the forums but not TRS, I have been watching since the first episode and I was hooked.
My background, I'm 23 and an Animation/Artist. I'm also moving to Vancouver to start a new job. I consider myself a film buff, I tend to watch everything I can get my hands on, no matter how indie. Comics, not so much, but I do enjoy a good read, and video games.. thats my life and profession, so I'm always playing new things.

Helloo!
Thought I'd drop by and say hello. I seethe TRS gang will be going to the Diggnation filming which, being from merry old England, I should be attending (work allowing). You asked for suggestions of things to do in London and to be honest the only thing the locals do is go to the pub and stab each other. There's Sega World and Namco World if you fancy some arcade action, and Quasar and Laser Quest have a certain geek factor (not sure if you have those across the pond: run around shooting each other with laser guns. Kind of like paintball but indoors and sci-fi themed). Best of all though is Circle Line Tag. I'm sure you played tag at school, well the Circle Line is a line on the London Underground (subway). You get a bunch of people and play tag on it, the rule being that you can't leave until a designated time (when the game ends and you meet up to go down the pub/get the ones who got arrested out of jail.
While I'm posting I thought I'd reccomend Peep Show to y'all. It's a British comedy show, not sure if you get it there. It's all shot in a first-person perspective and it tells the story of two 20-something flatmates: one a self-loathing, stuffy but intelligent nerd with a career, the other an unemployed, incompetent drop-out who believes he's a musical genius. It's quite honestly the funniest thing I've ever seen on screen so you should definitely check it out.
Great show btw ;)

I finally got the Rev3 forum to activate my account (2 months later). The TRS is pretty much the only Rev3 program I watch (though I do catch the odd Diggnation every once in a while).
It has to be one of the best if not the best podcast I've found. I find my self actually looking forward to Wednesday just because it means a new episode of TRS will be awaiting me.
I've been watching since the begging although at first I wasn't sure how I felt about it. It covered great topics, Steve, Jeff and Alex were great but Dan was just annoying. But now I can't imagine the show with out him.

I've been watching TRS from the beginning, but never been big into forums, but I thought I'd try to contribute.
I love movies, I have an unhealthy obsession with television, I fear video games, because fully realizing my love of video games would inevitably lead to my tragic death from malnutrition, over-stimulation and drooling epileptic fits. I'm also a huge book worm, former magic:the gathering geek, lego fanatic and lover of all that is rad about the 80's except for the kids that were actually born in them ;)
Most of all, I've become spiritually, emotionally, and comedicly connected with the three dick bags (a complete term of endearment in my book) that host the show... and Steve too. Keep rockin' it!
Cheers!
PS If you are in and around London, give me a shout, as I am obviously bored, and have plenty of spare time (proof of that is that I spent at least an hour trying to decide if "Magic:the Gathering Geek" should be capitalized...)

Big Xbox 360 fan as well as PC Gamer (Alienware) and love the whole Media Center world (I use Niveus Media Centers and Xbox 360s as Extenders). Big music fan as well (Sonos - Whole Home Audio) - would love to see TRS do something there!

New to the forum, definitely not new to Rev3 content, been watching Diggnation and been a part of Digg for well over a year now.
I am a Virgo and I enjoy long walks on the beach while sipping Dom. I love puppies, rabbits, and anything with excess amounts of fur. I have no children, and one iPhone.

Hi, I'm Jojo from Manila. I am generally a social outcasts from mainstream community. The ranks of my geekdom are swelled with gamers, ravers, science fictions fans, punks, perverts, programmers, nerds, subgenii, and trekkies. I prefer to socialize with other geeks, the self proclaimed weird. Therefore they go online to organize parties, food runs, drink runs, and movie nights, and be assured that their companions would rather talk about superheroes as modern mythology than the latest basketball scores.

Hi guys !!! This is Zycoflow all the way from Puerto Rico login in to say that TRS is simply the best show ever made, TV, radio or Internet. I can't wait to download the next show every week. You guys make a great show, easily and by far the best show at revision3, the topics and your chemistry is incredible, and the production quality is great. Keep it up guys, you have a fan here for as long as the show runs, and I hope its a long time !!!
Hey, I've jumped over from diggnation, which i am a long time fan off.

Hallo hallo.
I've been semi-lurking for awhile, and recently started lurking the IRC room, but have chatted a bit about beer a bit with some lovely peoples. Figured I would take this time to do this thang.
I'm Nate, and I live in Paradise, aka the Central Coast of California, near San Luis Obispo. I'm a graphic and web designer, currently working in-house for a cycling apparel company.
Huge movie dork, with a concentration on Kurosawa, Kubrick and Ridley Scott. Musically, I'm all over the board. I'm a long term pen and paper gamer, having played for 20 years now (30), and cut me teeth on BBSs back in the day. So, geek through and through. Big fan of beer and pretzel games like Munchkin, and more traditional games like poker. Any excuse to get with the friends and drink and laugh and cut each others throats.
Anyway, rambling. Hello all, and looking foward to chatting more, and maybe even getting together for a beer.

My name's Matt, I'm from Columbus Ohio. I'm an avid fan of the Totally Rad Show, been watching it since episode 1, still laugh when Dan comes in on the opening credits. Big fan of Diggnation, enjoy your commentary on stories. What else... I'm in radio, I produce a variety of shows at a 3 station cluster in Columbus. I play WoW, have 2 lvl 70's and am looking to relocate my hunter (nudge nudge, wink wink).
Thanks for putting on these great podcasts.

Hey guys, I'm Andy from the fabled land of Minnesota where we apparently hate everything rad. I guess it must be true because all my friends tell me that I have terrible taste in movies and tv(which must mean that they have bad taste since I usually agree with you guys on movies and tv.)

Hey Guys. Ian from Belmont (SF.) Started with Diggnation and watched a couple of the first eps of totally rad show. Didn't like it. Came back around ap 15 and it was much better. Now their three chemistry is so good I think Diggnation kinda (forgive me) sucks.
Anyway wanted to get involved. Started reading some graphic novels again fro the first time in 12 years. Reading The Watchmen now. Moving on to V for Vendetta next.
Thats it. Glad to be here.

Hello fellow radlings,
I'm Brent from Texas. Formerly Austin but now I reside in the small town of Big Spring, which is lame.
I was a big fan of TechTV which led me to TWIT and Diggnation which led me to Revision3 which led me to Geekdrome which led me to TRS and Geekscape.
I was semi-active in the geekdrome forums but work and the girlfriend got in the way and I've been lurking in the shadows of geekdom for a while. But I'm back with a vengeance so I hope to be a more frequent contributer here.
As a side note, after Geekdrome ended me and my friends started thinking about doing our own podcast to fill the gap. We wanted to do something that was visually interesting and divided into definite segments. We wanted to get away from the two guys on a couch, one shot kind of deal. And then TRS came out and it was everything that we wanted to do. Thanks for crushing my dreams guys.
Roni from Jerusalem, Israel, here by way of Diggnation.
I'm not much of a gamer (apart from WoW), I'm not into comics, and we don't get the same TV shows here, so I'm not 100% sure why I watch TRS. I guess I just find the TRS trio amusing. And the movie reviews come in handy.

I just joined because I thought it would be um, totally rad to do so.
I love the show and I gotta show some appreciation to the TRS guys for turning me on to Avatar. I freaking LOVE this cartoon now and I never would have given it a chance if I hadn't watched TRS.
I still haven't watched The Shield (the greatest TV show ever made) but I do intend to soon. :D

I look foward every week to watching TRS. Been watching since day one. I rather watch this then anything tv has to offer.
I also just joined the guild in wow. I had stoped playing wow for a long time, but when i heard TRS started a guild i had to get back into it.

Hey,
typical lurking type as well...but hey took the time to make an account so HELLO TO YOU ALL!
Gal from Hamburg, Germany love going to the Movies and spending time with my several consoles. My bookshelf is getting bigger as well at least every time the paycheck arrives :D
As you can imagine at first all new friends assume the consoles and DVDs belong solely to my boyfriend, but I proof them wrong every time ;)
For the time being I`m just devastated that I couldn`t afford the trip to London to meet the Guys. But hell either they come to Europe again some time soon (which I hope!) or I just gotta save up enough to come to the US.
Well, well, I´m gonna go lurking now...

Hello all, another forum newbie here. Evidently I joined some time ago, but never posted... Here's hoping I remedy that!
I'm a big fan of the show, and am currently making my way through the archives to catch up on all the older ones I missed.
Quick bio: I'm a 22 year old college student finishing up my last semester with a BS in computer science. I plan on going into web development after I'm out and have been freelancing for a number of years. I was born in Berlin, Germany but moved to Missouri when I was in 3rd grade. I was originally intending to move out to San Francisco after college, but after taking a week-long trip there in August I decided that it was a tad too expensive for my tastes at the moment... so for now I'm moving to St. Louis come December.
That's me in a nutshell, hope to see everyone on the boards!

I continued to watch Kevin when G4 came in and he was on Attack of the show. I became a big fan of podcasts not long after that when Diggnation was started. When Geekdrome started I became a big fan of that too. I have both Diggnation and Geekdrome shirts to prove my geekdom. When the drome broke apart and I heard Alex say he was going to be doing another show and it was going to be with Dan I about had a geekorgy. g'day!
i'm new to these here forums...
{been meaning to check them out for ages}
i'm from the Gold Coast, Queensland in Australia {the greatest place on earth}
as far as my relationship to revision 3 :
been subscribed to diggnation since episode 10
was subscribed to indigital since it began... RIP! oh how i miss thee!
subscribed to tekzilla, and the strange revision 3 gazette and the hit and miss web drifter...
been subscribed to totally rad show since day 1
i just wanted to say that the TOTALLY RAD SHOW is by FAR the best thing on revision 3!! and i think one of the best shows out there!! {and i mean any show, whether on tv, internet, podcast. radio, whatever.}

So, I am completely new here, while I am not completely new to the TRS. In fact, I've watched it for quite some time now. Anyway, I thought it proper to introduce myself to this little community, so here I am. I look forward to lots of geek talk (and the sarcasm that always comes with it).
Hi! I'm really sad to meet you and I think you're probably a horrible person. I'm sure you'll just hate it here.

So YYZ - Kyle is the new one and my name is actually Kyle Wildi. I work at the Toronto Airport (CYYZ) hence the name. Looking forward to bringing the sexy back to geek with the rest of you.

Another lurker finally getting around to posting.
I came over from Diggnation at Alex's prompting (I was pretty new there too) somewhere around episode 3. TRS has become my favourite show (glad to see I'm not the only person who keeps the archive - and watches past episodes ...)
Life-long nerd-girl; big time reader (especially fantasy/sci fi in novel, graphic novel, comic formats) and into movies (I'm a junkie for behind the scenes stuff - it's usually the deal-breaker in 'am I going to buy this or not'). I loved finding this show that hits so many of my interests.
I'm really enjoying the gaming segments too and am afraid that's something else I'll be getting into (there goes the rest of my time and bank balance).
From another Canadian viewer.
Cheers, D.

Hi, I'm Steve.
I live in the UK. I'm in a band. I'm 31.
I've been watching Diggnation for nearly a year now (had to go back to see Episode 1!!) BUT I saw Episode 1 of TRS when it came out. Thought it was cool but forgot to go back to it until recently just did a mammoth run of 6 episodes in the last 2 days (even though I'm in the process of moving house!) and now I love it. Will be watching from now on.

Im Burn. I'm from Portland. I've been a Rev3 devotee since day 1. TRS is the stuff. Diggnation is also the stuff. Anything with Martain Sargent has STUFF written all over it. Needless to say, big fan.
I used to watch all of these guys on Tech TV, and followed them to the various things now listed on Rev3. I've been a member since nearly the begining, but didn't really do much on the forums ever. I've read them for a while, just never posted.
things of note
- I am a complete star trek nerd
- I work for a cable company and hardly watch TV
- I've got a tattoo of the cover of "how to survive a robot uprising," one of my favorite books ever
- I still own my genesis, snes, n64, dreamcast, gamecube, ps2, and tons of games for all
- I still play arcade and pinball games at the greatest place on the planet Ground Kontrol (http://groundkontrol.com)
- I am a electronic dj of 12 years and have played music all over portland and seattle

I finally had to do it...I had to join the forums. There's just too much that goes through my mind as I watch TRS (and other Rev3 shows).
I'm a graphic designer living in New York and having Diggnation on Mondays and TRS on Wednesdays definitely make the earlier part of the week more bearable....I just have to watch myself and make sure I don't crack up too much otherwise my co-workers might think I'm diseased or something.
Keep up the great work, and I can't wait to hopefully hang around the forums more.

Hello! Hope to become a fairly active part of the forums in the future as I step out of the proverbial shadow of a lurker.
I'm a sophomore at the University of Arizona and currently am majoring in Journalism. Started out watching Diggnation, as I assume a lot of people here did, and have been hooked on TRS since day 1. Fridays and Wednesdays are the best part of my dreary school week. Keep up the great work guys, and I hope to meet all of the interesting people here.

Hi! I've been listening to the show at work now since episode 1. I started listening to diggnation about a year ago, and when Alex annouced the TRS I had to check it out. I can honestly say I enjoy TRS more than Digg. I can't say how much it helps to have this show to look forward to every week at work. My coworkers often give me odd looks when I'm listening to the show because I'm cracking up :)

Well I've actually been a member of these forums for a few days but I never posted here, so here it is. I'm currently a sophomore at UC Riverside, studying economics. I've been an off-and-on viewer of Diggnation from its beginning, which led me to other shows like Ctrl + Alt + Chicken and now The Totally Rad Show, which I started watching due to my brother showing me a clip of Dan becoming an (English) man. I haven't laughed that hard at a podcast in a very, very long time. So anyways, here I am, and I'm looking forward to partaking in the goings on here!

Hello!
I discovered Totally Rad Show accidentally about two weeks ago when I was browsing Gamespot.com and spotted a link where the guys were being interviewed during their visit to London. I have now watched the first 20 episodes and I think it's absolutely great (hey, that's probably what a UK version would be called... The Absolutely Great Show... anyway, I digress...).
I look forward to watching the rest of the episodes and then exploring the other shows on Revision3.
I hope you manage to keep up the fantastic work for a long time to come!

Hey my name's Dave. Been watching the show since about the 5th episode but only came onto the forum recently. I love the show! Plus it got me into THE GREATEST SHOW ON TELEVISION!:D
Oops. Realize I just started posting in the TRS forum this past week or so without a proper introduction. Fast facts:
Hometown/Currently Residing In: the up & coming Charlotte, NC
Age: 27
Occupation(s): Cube-dwelling slave to databases, Dad in training
I Dig: Wife, wine, and song. Media (music, movies, books, etc.). Laughing.
I Don't Dig: People talking to me while they're in the bathroom with the door open, yard work, conference calls for the purpose of organizing future conference calls.
What I Want to Be When I Grow Up: Not what I am right now - still chasing acting, voice work, improv comedy on the side. The corporate I.T. gig is an enabler, nothing more.
Why I'm here: Been watching DiggNation on and off for a while now, been posting on and off at the Rev3 forums for a while now, just caught some TRS episodes a week or so ago and dug it.

You should really see a doctor about that.
So a B.S. in mathematics and will be going on an M.S. What do you want to do 'when you grow up' as they say?

best case scenario? a cushy job at google/microsoft. i love the industry and while i don't want to be a 'code monkey,' I would love to do research for a cutting edge tech company.

Well, you're in Microsoft land. So that shouldn't be too hard.

Hey,
I'm a Diggnation fan, an an avid digger, and now a TRS fan. I'm looking forward to checking these forums in between repeatedly checking digg's front page. And here's a rawr for the road.

Hey Everyone! Been watching diggnation and trs since day one...big time lurker...not so big poster. But I felt Like i should post finally. Im from Canada Ontario. Love anime, gaming, and anything geeky :D I use to be 240lb. but thanks to podcast being an hourish to 2 hoursish they were great for keeping me entertained while biking/gyming. (not a big sports fan, repetition bores me) and now I'm down to 165 and in the best shape of my life. :)
And I love seeing Dan, Alex, and Jeff being geeky and always loving it and having a great time. Just goes to show Geek is the new cool
So I just wanted to thank everyone at rev3 and all podcasts out there, and everyone who supports them...so all yous on the forums. Thanks :)
your all my heroes :)
oh and Jeff, there is a better show than the shield...

Hello everyone I'm EvilEyedKyo (Adam in real life!) and happy xmas etc etc... to everyone.
Been a huge fan of the show for months now but been a little lazy in sharing the love here on the forums, so better late than neve I suppose. Though, I must say, I have been busy sharing the love (think forcing:D) by introducing as many as my friends to the show as humanly possible.
Thanks guys for putting together a kick a$$ show, it's one of my weekly viewing highlights (along with diggnation) and even though I'm speaking on "my crews" behalf, as their not forum people, we send our heart felt love and appreciation to all of you, cheers guys!

Hey everyone, Im Thy751. My old account The751 couldnt post after I activated it so I just made a new one. I currently do Pixel art on good 'ol Microsoft Paint (cant quite do photoshop). Ive been watching the show sience 1 but never really made an effort to post in the forums.
Also a quick question, where could I post some pics I make on the forum (This seems like a nice community so I want to take some critisizum off of people here and to show some work.) Thanks

Oh, hello. I am introducing my self. My real name is Tim, I enjoy totally rad stuff, drawing, writing short stories, and long walks on the beach. I have been meaning to make an account for about 30 episodes now, and through sheer force of will I managed to finally click those buttons.

Hey everyone, name is Ian. I've been a fan since episode one after watching alex on Diggnation. Also caught the guys at SD Comic-con and the after party. But I'm pretty bad at posting on forums. I've posted a few times but nothing long term. My New Years Resolution is to post more, specifically here. So hopefully I'll be talking to everyone a lot more! Oh and my screen name stands for Not Really On Aol...because I was never allowed to have AOL when I was a kid (MSN...woof) and so I was one of the first people amongst my friends to use only aim. And apparently I've never looked back.
