Not having any issues at this end. At about 170MB now.

WTF happens to the video at around the 32:14 mark (right after the GoDaddy sponsorship)? Anyway, it started out strong, but it just kinda fizzled out. Oh well...
EDIT: I will be in LA if I know where I am supposed to be. Next week hopefully?

Is it just me or did anyone else think this episode not as good as it usually is. The stories were, in general boring, and Kevin and Alex didnt seem too into it as they usually are..their tone was like.."alright lets just do this..and yea, whatever..."
it was a little too short. i thought it was a pretty good show, though. then again, i pretty much enjoy all of their shows.

There was also a sort of tension between them (not sexual :D ) as though Kevin was wanting to yell at Alex!
Thats what i thought happend when it just randomly cuts out a ways into it.

Those pictures they are taking about aren't done by the satelite, they're captured from an airplane.
If you go to those places using Google Earth you can even see the icon explaining it.
Somebody from National Geographic decided to fly over Africa and take pictures of different areas, they even have special page dedicated to that mission.
The guy looking at "us" was actually looking at the airplane from which the pictures were taken.

Just curious if anyone else uses the Down-Them-All extension for Firefox, and if so can you download the large wmv alright??
Every time I do it with dTa it downloads the entire thing and then only save a frigin html document. No idea why it keeps happening.

yeah it works fine for me.
Do you right click and start dta oneclick?
and does it only happen for wmv and on new diggnations?

Hehe I dont know what happened during the cut out but I find it really funny especially since Kevin Rose just did that interview on MTV.Com talking about how they never cut shit out and they just show the people what its like to be around Kevin/Alex :P

I didn't think it was too bad. That "man milk" thing was pretty funny. They had me laughing quite a few times during the episode.

Yea same thing happened to me. I was trying to download the Xvid version. And it got to like 25% ish and it stops and saves it as a HTML. So I gave up after like 3 times and got the MOV version.
And yea... "He was sharing his man milk" Nuf said.

Yes, that's what I was thinking too. (Well, not the whole back store about National Geographic, etc. But that the pictures probably were taken from airplane rather than satellite.)
That's really the only reasonable explanation for the close-up and why someone would look up into the camera.

firstly i do find it ironic that there may have been some editing. secondly painting the walls wouldn't have changed the color like that. That was some sorta filter or gel applied to the lens or the lens was stained. Anyways kinda funny, though all the issues this episode had with color and codec errors within VLC and stuff it was meh.

There was also a problem with the high H.264 version wanting to start playing at 13:30 into the episode. The same kind of thing happened with Episode 27: The Infected Pornography Special, only it wanted to start playing at 6:20. This is a confirmed encoder problem. The problem can be repaired by re-saving the MOV with Quicktime, although an even better solution would have Rev3 replace it as to not further propagate the bad files.
