When I say billion dollar company I mean what the company could be sold for not the yearly income.

About 6 months ago there was an article valuing kevin's share of the company at $60 mill. With the funding they've had to get I doubt kevin still holds 60% but lets say he does. That means the company had a value of $100 mill.

It seems that every other website I visit has a digg button for stories or video.They keep building their infrastructure into the "internets" and I wouldn't be surprised if they continued to grow by 25% - 50% per year. Remember digg.com is only really a couple of years old.

So, in 10 years time, I would be surprised if digg.com wasn't worth at least a billion to some company like google or time warner.

It will probably be around for another 10 years, but it won't be as popular. It's just a fad. Much like myspace had its moment Digg will have their moment and then something new will pop up.
