First of all, those asking for it "in iTunes" probably just need an RSS feed. It doesn't have to be in the iTunes Music Store Podcast Directory to subscribe to it. (If you don't know how to add a podcast feed manually, im or pm me and I will help.)

So... where's the RSS feed? :)

(Although, it's better for the SHOW if it's in the directory and we all subscribe there.. even if you don't watch it that way; it ups it's "ratings". And, on that note, be sure to get an account at Digg if you don't have one already and digg the trs podcast when it's up.)

The small QT for TRS is H.264 640x360 with a higher bit rate than the large QT.

The only way I know of transferring things from one hard drive to another is, anything you have bought on the marketplace, arcade games etc. can be downloaded again when you recover your gamertag with the new hard drive. For game saves you would have to use a memory card.

Good episode, but I'd have to disagree about the Wii. It is a lot a fun with friends and everything. But single player games like Zelda and Excite Truck are fantastic. And with Super Paper Mario among a bunch of other games coming out in the future, the Wii will be an even better system. Oh, and the Super Scope 16 Danny was talking about was just called the Super Scope. It came with a game called Super Scope 6 which was a cart with 6 different Super Scope games on it.

Mini review:

Using the word RAD way too much in the opening. RAD, we get it. Does anyone use that word outside of California?

Hated Alex on TSS back in the day but have grown to love the guy on diggnation and TRS. He's funny as usual. What's up with Alex stealing Danny T's EPIC!!!!!! Alex shouldn't sing :-)

Danny T. - great to see him back since the end of Geekdrome (loved the drome by the way). Dan must have been sick this episode since he looked like he needed a shower or maybe he was just under the weather and running a fever. Dan brings the movie info which I miss so much since the drome ended. Bring back the trailers!!! Good work Dan! Thanks for pointing us to geekscape.net

Your ears were not wrong, that was the opening to the podcast. Maybe it is some creative commons songs that is free for everyone to use.

Show comments: I love the use of the green screen to show people images and videos. It is so much easier to follow the conversation when there is photo or movie in the background that shows exactly what they are talking about. Keep up the great work guys, and will be waiting for show number two!

Yeah. I think you'll see a lot of green screen in vidcasts now. It's cheap and easy to do. Not to say it can't be effective. Depends on how it's used.

There was a mention of Starship Troopers during this ep and I realised that it would of been so nice to hear these guys speak about the book... I wish there was a podcast talking about sci-fi books with the same level of passion... I feel it's never going to happen. Still... AMAZING ep. Thanks guys.

I say, run to the theater. Er, wait.. wrong show. I LOVED IT.

The good stuff:
- Green screen for silly backgrounds is fun.
- Green screen for showing clips... RAD.
- Good chemistry, but that was expected.
- Awesome references.
- Feels less like a talking head podcast.
- Less than an hour makes it lunch sized!

The bad stuff:
- There's no way I could do just the audio version after seeing that. (heh)
- Others have mentioned the "talking over each other" bit, and I agree somewhat, but that might improve with time and comfort.
- Seems like there's lots of stuff to try to remember to say, you need teleprompters. ;) ...or just cue cards I guess.


I look forward to the 2nd one and to see comics coverage. It's obvious everyone on the show loves games and movies... but I don't know about comics yet.

So I just finally watched the show (my presence was required at the bar last night). I love it. It's got energy and camp and geekery and Alex and everything.

I like the green screen and the kitschy effects and subject transitions and everything. It takes it up a notch from the n dudes sitting on a couch in a basement | garage | living room, etc. Screw a set, greenscreen lets you go nuts!

You know what this show reminds me of on a certain level? Only the greatest show ever made: Space Ghost Coast to Coast. **** yeah, I said it.

I'm sorry, Alex is a funny dude and these other two guys seem alright as well. I just found it a little too boring to talk about the ATHF movie analytically for 20 mins and then about video games for the same amount of time. I would like to see you talk about music too, which would nullify the nerd factor considerably (unless you only talked about The Postal Service or other indie-hipster bands).

However, the content is really not the issue.... it's the ridiculously hokey intro song and transitions and terrible artwork backgrounds and such; and that dumb little "pass the whip" video, what the hell? Seriouslly, that theme song is terrible, please don't use it anymore.

I enjoyed episode one, and found it quite entertaining. I read the complaints and I disagree with most of them. Not that what they said wasn't true in some cases but that's what I love about it. It's not so polished where it seems phoney. I like how real it is, and even though there is an outline to the show it's not scripted. It's real feelings with real responses, that makes you feel like your over at a buddies house sharing ideas and information. Not sitting there watching some polished corporate sponsored propaganda. I liked it, I enjoyed it, I feel like I was watching some friends being successful on a new project.

Congrats and keep up the great work. I'll be looking forward to watching your next episode.
