My iTunes keeps crashing while loading TRS (the small quicktime version)
Is this happening to anyone else? Any suggestions? I was just hoping to watch it on my iPod somehow.

I consistently have problems when rev3 podcasts first come out. Is it possible that too many people are grabbing it at the same time? maybe not, but it seems strange that my DL issues go away after 3 days of the files going up.

I was able to watch the feed on iTunes (7.1.1.5 on Intel Mac) and also on the iPod.

Is it actually a problem playing the video or just downloading?

Actually since then its just become a problem with iTunes, not the video. It will crash after a couple seconds of doing anything, like playing songs or downloading podcasts, etc. But I don't think it has anything to do with this show, sorry.

Which particular file are you having problems with? One of them? All of them? How are you downloading them? Via web-browser, iTunes, Bittorrent?

Twit had this same problem. What happens is when you upload it to one server it has to mirror the file to all the other servers around the world. As it is mirroring the file, you can download only half of the podcast, but it shows up as the full file size. When you play it back you might only get to watch only ten minutes.
If you’re a person who gets all the shows right when they come out wait two or three hours so all the servers around the world can get the file.
Leo Laporte now uploads Twit to Cash Fly, and after he uploads it--he waits two to three hours before he gives out the RSS FEED.
Cash FlyCachefly, that is.

Are you using iTunes to subscribe to the show and having trouble downloading it? If so, check to see that you have the latest version of iTunes or you can just click on this link (http://videos.revision3.com/trs/0001/trs--0001--trumors--small.m4v) and download it directly from your web browser.

The only issue I have is not being able to subscribe to the large quicktime version, but I imagine that its not an option in itunes because of bandwidth. Am I right or not so much?

I uninstalled iTunes using the AppDelete software and then re-installed it, and all my problems were gone.

i was having a problem playing the video. the download went fine but after about 15 minutes or so into it. my computer just totally froze up. so after a restart i started watching it again and another 15 or 30 minutes went by and it did it again. but im thinking its my computer although this never happened before

It seems very much like a system issue.

I have not had any problems with Itunes with the small quicktime. I do wish you would feed the large quick time version to Itunes. The small looks soso on my 50" TV when I stream it to my apple tv.
