Since Dan is back on a show, I'd be great if Dan could bring back this segment. I loved it on geekdrome, hope he brings it to The Totally Rad Show

I know that this subject is for Dan bringing that segment to the show... but I have to put my two cents in (especially if Dan cannot respond due to massive uppercutting!).
Heavy Metal Magazine. It's a light read with breasts, gore, and scifi/fantasy settings. Me and my girlfriend love it.

Why aren't you watching Geekscape? Jon has a "comic for people who don't like comics" almost every other week or so.
Which brings up another topic. How are the topics on Geekscape and TRS going to differ? I hope it's not going to be repeated stories, topics, etc.
oh why am I complaining! Two great shows dammit!

so this is the official "talk about other comic podcasts thread"? I'm all for Danny starting back up that section. Not sure if it was Jon or Danny's idea. Even if it's called something else I'd love to see this on Geekscape.

You broke a rule around here that is going to make you unpopular with the cool kids ... suggesting people look outside this forum at what other shows have to say.
The iFanboy Forum (http://revision3.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=20) has some great threads going. It has grown faster than Geekdrome ever did (still not at the same post count, but at only 11 episodes, give it time), and it is pretty much ALL about comics.
Here are a selection of threads from the past month.
Embarrassing Comic Book Purchases (http://revision3.com/forum/showthread.php?t=4938)
Most anticipated title for 3/28/07? (http://revision3.com/forum/showthread.php?t=4934) <= This is a regular. Basically what are you looking forward to this week.
Comic Sales Figures for February 2007 (http://revision3.com/forum/showthread.php?t=4791) <= Pops up monthly. What did everyone else buy.
you guys are great and i want more help (http://revision3.com/forum/showthread.php?t=4639) <= A "Where should I get back into comics thread"
The Sandman Thread aka I Hate Black Nail Polish (http://revision3.com/forum/showthread.php?t=4489) <= Its not all about guys in tights.
Just started, need recommendations (http://revision3.com/forum/showthread.php?t=4468)
20 Comics That Can Change Your Life (http://revision3.com/forum/showthread.php?t=4400)
I am pretty sure that a "Comics for people who hate comics" thread was in there as well ... but not in the past month.
Key point is, they discuss everthing. 95% of the threads are comic releated. They do seem to have a Marvel bias, but they don't ignore DC or the indies.
And, they have the ABSOLUTE MOST COMPLETE 'Battlestar Galactica' Discussion Thread (http://revision3.com/forum/showthread.php?t=4284) on the forums (yes, they are Cylons ... read the thread for the lowdown).
Its a pity some people (and they know who they are) wont move to the other side of the room to talk to people that have exactly the same interests they do, and discuss it in more depth and greater variety than was ever found elsewhere in the forums. The iFanboy crowd know comics and are great guys too.
