I love to see the show back, I really like seeing DannyT again etc, etc.

But I have one small little gripe (well maybe a fairly big one)

Why must we have the moving camera for each person speaking? I know you might want to stray from the steady camera in geekdrome/geekscape, but to me it just feels awkward, especially with the different background. Maybe I just kind of liked the cozy feeling of the drome (and the currently the scape) but this new setup I'm not liking so much.

Hey if everyone else disagrees, I have to say I still love the show and will definitely continue to tune in, and the different format won't make the geek talk any less rad.

I don't think that's a steady argument....Hahahaha

Kind of agree, but unless you are doing a multicamera shoot, I can't see much way out of it unless you have a wide shot of everyone, and fudge the shot in post production.

We used a widescreen camera (16:9) to fo that in a project for work. Since the camera was native 16:9 (not cropped like many are) we were able to play with the 4:3 image space to give a 2 camera effect, but it wasn't perfect.

inDigital are struggling with the same issue - filming three people talking together. They almost have it right, adn I don't think it will take long for the Awesome Productions team to do the same.

I was really hoping this wouldn't look just list geekdrome, diggnation, geekscape, etc. I love(d) those shows, but the lone unmoving camera on 2-3 guys just sitting there is getting really old. I am so happy that TRS doesn't look like that. Dynamic > Static.

I still have the chatting with friends vibe, so I'm not sure where that's coming from, but everyone's different.
