Ok, I can understand them being on the same system, but...

no, hell has officially frozen over when mike tyson and the purple teletubby are in the same game together. as far as sonic and mario? i can't wait. though i love mario, sonic can totally kick his ass.

Not too supprising concidering how Sega has shown the most loalty towards nintendo since the Dreamcast went under.

Mario jumps on things.
Sonic spins and jumps on things.
Mario can fly, with the proper equipment.
Sonic needs special shoes because he can run so fast.
Mario does magic mushrooms.
Sonic prizes gold and valuable gems.
Mario's nemesis is a fire-breathing turtle/dragon thing.
Sonic's is a fatass roboticist.
...Pretty even. Sounds like a cool game.

I'm kind of hoping that sonic is in smash bros brawl before this Olympics game.
Is it just me or does Sonic seem like the more natural athlete?

Well the are going to be in two games together, I believe that Sonic is a confirmed character for Super Smash Bros. Brawl.

Its good news for me, Ive been eagerly awaiting a decent Sonic game for years, and havent gotten one. I dont know if anyone here got a chance to play Shadow the Hedgehog, or the recent 360 Sonic game, but they were terrible.

Sonic and the Secret Rings is great, if you have a Wii I'd recommend it :D

I see you don't have a DS or a Wii and don't keep up with gaming.
Sonic Rush on DS and Sonic and the Secret RIngs Wii,then we have New Super Mario Bros DS and the upcoming in a few days Super Paper Mario (and no it's not a RPG..it's aplatformer that switches from 2D sidescrolling at times to full 3D very different than the pther Paper Mario games and then Mario Galaxy later this year.
