Hey.
Am I the only one who thinks the intro sound LOUD compared to the show itself?
I usually watch like 2 or more episodes at once and it's always the same thing. I set the volume to a comfortable level during the first episode and then when the next starts, the intro is funking LOUD.
Simple thing to fix during editing.
Cheers.
I have always noticed that, but never bothered to say anything.
Just turn it down, then back up lol.

Yeah, I hate it as well. The sudden jump in volume wakes me up when I am on the plane travelling. Not necessarily a bad thing.

It doesn't bother me too much I suppose, my MacBooks speakers are pretty shitty.

The same thing happens to me on the train.

i always watch on my ipod, and know to keep it down, then turn up. i always miss the first few things they say bc of it. not too big of deal, although they should tone it down

Yeah, I always watch diggnation late at night, so my dad is sleeping in the next room, and I am always afraid he will hear the sudden loudness. It's quite annoying.

Sounds like it is no longer an issue and it is now in widescreen. :)

Weird, weird, weird all you people having issues with the sound levels. I've always found it to be a smooth transition from the intro to the show.
Of course, I could just be deaf or enjoy it loud...so....

This is an old thread and the problem still exists?... it's been getting increasingly annoying. Please fix this already Revision3! :(

yeah i also notice that.
also, did anyone notice kevin's audio level seemed down in the last episode? like his mic wasn't on and his audio was being picked up by alex's mic only?

"Welcome to Diggnation.... BAROUN BABAROUN BABAROUN BOUN I have flys because I have fruit"
Yeah I always turn down the volume when it bursts but then turn it up when they begin to talk. It's pretty loud in my friends apartment.

I have a dynamics processor which I picked up for £100 in my sound system, helps with problems like this massively! Not only for diggnation, but also on TV when the ads always tend to be ten times louder than the shows! So it just limits top ends, and raises lows for you, and keeps everything the same level.
Deffo worth putting between your source & speakers in your theatre system, even if you just use it for top end limiting.

I only watch the video downloads and it doesn't seem like's it's an issue. The loud intro sets off the beginning of the show I think. I'm sure it would be more noticeable if I were listening to the audio only.
