I just ordered a black macbook with 2 gbs ram yesterday, and I can't wait until it gets here? Anyone know how long they take to ship in Canada? Because I'm pumped for my first mac.

As for the shipping, I don't know I'm in the states. But just check out the tracking number when they send it to you, that should give you an alright estimate.

The battery would last 10000x longer with the childrens souls. Though you would have to keep the volume down cause the the screams of the souls would echo through the speakers.

Lucky sumbidge. And if one has never been to Nova Scotia does it exist?I don't think it is a real place. North America ends at EASTERN time. You can GO any further east without being in France or something.
Alex - hate to say it, but you bought the machine abourt 2 weeks early. Apple have an announcement in the works for mid-Aprill. Not sure what it is, but as keen as you are to get your new machine, I would hope it was delayed by 2 weeks. Apple start to quiertly ship upgraded machines when the timing is close like this ... so you might get a "tail end of old stock" machine, or a "shiny new hidden upgrade" machine. Eitherway, it will be a great computer and do everything you wanted ... just don't complain when you find out that if you had waited it would have been $X cheaper, or come with a Y instead of a Z.
There was a story on Digg from one of the Apple related web sites that had a table of rumoured releases ... I wish I could find the thing to post here.

Here is how is done.
The souls are trapped in a crystal in a evil ritual.
The battery itself is made from the bones and blood of the children.
After a battery is made a few souls are transfered into the battery and you get a battery with a half life of 100 years.
Speaking of rumors I wish they would do the (RED) macbook. It would be supporting a cause when bought and its red!!!!!

Time Machine is gonna rock, and save me a lot of hassle, but oddly enough, I'm looking forward to Spaces most. Something I have wanted for a while, considering how I work. I think it will be even more useful than expose.

I got my case (I oredered at the same time) yesterday so now I have a computerless case and it's very upsetting. Should be here by Wednesday!

Actually it's good to have the case before or at the same time as the macbook. Sure it's a heinous reminder that the 'book aint there yet, but the day you get it you are gonna wanna portable it. Case will be good.

It's still not here and I ordered it the 27th! It just shipped out from Apple this morning so I won't get it before the long weekend which sucks because I extra for express shipping and it took Apple so long to ship it out that I still didn't get it by the time I thought I would.

Well it got here before the long weekend and so far its amazing. I am really liking OSX so far, and I can't wait until I really get used to all the short cuts and stuff. Not to mention that the black macbook looks awesome.

Haha I really like them both actually, but the I like the black one just a little bit more. My friend is getting the white one and it should be here next week so I'll get to play around with it and make sure I made the right decision.
So far though I love this computer! I am hoping it will handle final cut express ok, which it should, or so I read.
