Back in 1996, I was finally not on the edge of dying everyday, so went goth in fashion, then goth inside. Yeah, the black lipstick and all. Now I'm still a goth. It's misunderstood. It's not about depression and death and dressing in black. That's just the associated fashion, and anyone can do it. It's like me wearing a cheongsam, a traditional Chinese dress. I may look kinda the part (a white, blue-eyed, red-haired version anyway), but it doesn't make me Chinese. Same thing for goth. And it pisses me off that people don't know the difference.

Labels of any kind are dumb. In HS the goth kids scared everyone and I seemed to scare everyone even the goths. They use to yell out at me Trenchcoat Mafia because I wore one all the time and people called me many things Undertaker, Witch, and my favorite Satan. Everyone avoided me except the people who I knew.
