I can't get this to download for me. I have tried about 4 of the formats, and it gets to about 30% done ish and just stops and tries to save a html file. Same thing happened last episode as well. Hope this gets fixed soon, I want my Diggnation.

Are you using a download manager? If so, try downloading it without the download manager.

Widescreen seems like an odd idea for a show like this (of course always did wonder what goes on to the immediate left and right of Alex and Kevin) but meih WIDESCREEN FTW if only because can never have enough widescreen.
Oh and can't wait for the video to be up!!

Yes, I realized I was using the 'Download them all" plug in for Firefox and that was screwing up. So I went back to Internet Download Manager and it works fine now.

Awesome, can't wait to watch it. Although, my desktop isn't widescreen, the laptop is, but that's okay. Higher quality never hurts :D

People are saying they added a watermark, too.
That sucks, but I can see why. So people know that it's from Revision3, no matter where they downloaded it from.
But hey, I think widescreen is a fair trade for it. :)

I just finished watching it. It was pretty good, kinda short but good.
The watermark didn't bother me much, didn't even realize it was there until you mentioned it actually.

Maybe they made it widescreen because that is how TV are (for Apple TV).

From a story on Digg I saw a little while back, from what I understand you don't unnecessarily need widescreen formatted files and/or TVs to run Apple TV.
Anyone want to correct me on this one?

That would be sort of awkward proposing in that manner on a program viewed by thousands of people, then she says no...
Really am digging the widescreen in frontrow, makes it look so much better when viewed that way.
Even though it's at a low resolution then before, it looks better?
To me, the only reason they went wide was to add the huge ID bug.

I hate to be part of the spelling police, but tell whoever does the lower thirds on the show to check the spelling (the first story has a typo in the lower third)

I dont like the huge Revision3 logo there but since it's widescreen it doesnt block anything. If it was 4:3 still it would be annoying. Maybe using the Little tv icon that makes the o in revisiOn3 for a logo would work? Or just putting Rev3 [tv logo]. Idk it looks more like a watermark on a pirated dvd screener or something than a network logo. My two cents.

I really liked this episode. The horrific death talk was the best part. I totally agree with kevin on the whole drowning thing. I would hate to die in the ocean/be lost in the middle of the ocean, but drowning in a pool wouldn't be that bad.
I too am really dissapointed about the marriage proposal thing. That would be shitty if she said no....life goes on though....
overall a great episode. I just wanted to add to the widescreen discussion. I watch on my modded xbox (XBMC) on a widescreen tv, so it is great! The logo didn't bother me a lot.

This show was kind of weak. It was informative and funny(loved the Apple TV talk - it told me a lot about the product without needing to read any reviews), but it seemed like they just really wanted to get through the show.
Maybe they just get more off-topic in the other episodes, but it sure seemed like they only covered 4, maybe 5 stories in this show. I could not have told you they did 6, plus the Apple TV coverage.
Ah, oh well.

This show was kind of weak.I agree. It was very short. The AppleTV talk was about the same length of the show.
...loved the Apple TV talk - it told me a lot about the product without needing to read any reviews...but it seemed like they just really wanted to get through the show. I totally agree. And about the AppleTV... umm, hello? Kevin? Systm?

It definitely felt rushed. For some reason, it seems like they aren't really enjoying it anymore. It looks to me like they feel like this is a job, and not just a fun little thing with two guys hanging out drinking beers and talking.
It was still funny and informative, but it just seems like they aren't too into it. :(

I dont like the huge Revision3 logo there but since it's widescreen it doesnt block anything. If it was 4:3 still it would be annoying. Weird vibes on this latest diggnation. Cool that it was in widescreen, it was a lot nicer to watch it on my widescreen LCD, but the episode was super short and the vibes between Alex and Kevin were a bit... off. Or was that just me?
Also, the weird ball chair they featured on the pimp my office story, wasn't that like Worf's chair in Star Trek: TNG? Any Trekkies here know what I'm talking about? The one he had in his quarters...

I just want to know if Alex takes money from Microsoft. Serious question.
The way he goes on about Zune, X-box, Vista while refusing to acknowledge any positive thing about AppleTV, iPod, Macs in general etc.
I know Kevin like Apple a lot but he is pretty honest when MS does something good. Alex does nothing of the sort.
If anyone at diggnation wants to make a statement one way or the other I think it would be better for viewers.
I just want a little transparency. Can't stand tainted opinions on tech products.

Could you please explain the problem in detail? Not sure what you mean by "as sections are added onto in increments."
I personally have not had any issues with the downloads. Is anyone else having this problem where they have to re-download the files multiple times to get the whole show?

I just put a 80 gig hard drive and XBMC (Xbox Media Center) on my xbox, and I could do everything appleTV does, plus more. I've been watching Diggnation without even having to download it on my computer (Via the scripts part of xbmc)
I think that a 100 dollar xbox (at least) and a couple of hours, you can have a machine that does everything the appleTV does, plus more, add some emu. and some roms, I went straight from watching Diggnation on the big screen to playing old school Super Smash Bros.

really the only thing that the original XBox (with XBMC) can't do is wireless... which really isn't much of an issue, as if you really needed to you could get an adapter.

Bah, could even use a $50 Pentium III 500 MHz and do the same (if a bit less elegantly...).
Anyway, the Apple TV doesn't really impress me that much. I mean apart from them streamlining the software end of things, they don't offer that many compelling reasons over an Xbox or dedicated PC for cheap.
And awesome episode like always guys!! Widescreen was a bit odd at first but looks nice.

yuuup.... i did that recently without even touching a chip. Works seamlessly. Got all the scripts for all the Ziff davis stuff.. and rev3 and twit...
And i laughed at all the fools that buy an apple tv!!!!!!haahah....
kevin should know better, but i suppose steve jobs has done his job by creating one more apple clone, that will buy any junk he makes.
Alex;s thinking is right, he'l buy anythin with an apple logo...
I love the show nonetheless and apple products are cool, but this one is just crap

I personally think this is a really bad look now, mostly because it's not in HD now and Plus I Really Loved the fullscreen look before, The logo does not bother me at all Plus Who Care's about the new logo you can't even notice it!
I am a donator to Revision3 because I mostly love Diggnation and Alex n' Kevin, but now that Diggnation is probably going to be in poorly quality, and Widescreen, I'm Piste!
Just my thought's....

on a side note what is the best format I mean the highest res format I get the XviD Large mainly because I use XBMC and ccxGui Lite to stream it and that Xvid I never had a problem with on XBMC unlike others
