Facebook is better than hi5, myspace, and all those other things, it's about maintaining the friends you already have.

When I first checked out facebook it was all about college, and was just adding corporations/businesses. It seemed to be more about networking for career purposes than just a social thing. Is that still the case?

No, see my thing above, linkedin is more about careers. ON FB, school, work, whatever - it's about maintaining relationships, leaving messages and whatnot.

agreed. i did recently drop my fbook account tho. im actually going back to 'calling' people on the cell phone.
