On the top right side of each post is an area for the optional AIM, ICQ, Skype ID thing. Putting a DIGG icon up there ties the two sites together ... as in "Click here to see what I am digging".

Not sure if it can be implemented, but now that I understand where you are coming from, it makes so much more sense.
