Hi there, I'm new to Diggnation, and I think it rocks and all that, but I have a question:

I wanna download all the mp3 podcasts and stick them onto my iPod. Is there any way (maybe a FTP) to just click download and wait for a couple of hours or more to download them all? Let's just say I don't like iTunes and I don't use it...

Hmm?

I'm pretty sure such an act of downloading so much awesomeness at one time would have undesirable side effects on your brain.

Wow thanks man, that's really helpful!

But then again, I will be traveling away from my computer a lot in the next weeks so it'll be good to have something on my iPod to listen to from time to time...

But it's great! I didn't know you cared! :o

No problem

I don't think there is a FTP site. Your best shot is to just bite the bullet and install itunes for a few hours.

Well yeah, but I have the Storm Codec installed, which has somekind of Quicktime implementation, and when I try to install iTunes, it gives me a Quicktime error :|

You can create a small script that determines the URLs and then downloads them.

There is a RSS feed (http://revision3.com/diggnation/feed/mp3) for all the Diggnation mp3's @ the Diggnation homepage (http://revision3.com/diggnation). Save the mp3.xml file and parse out the links and feed it to wget.

Something like this would do:

cat mp3.xml | grep ^http | xargs wget

I'd say that too. However, do they even list all the episodes on iTunes. It's been nearly 2 years.
