Ive had my HDTV for like 3 or 4 months now and at first paid for a HD-DVR from my Cable company (Cox). But, I had been a TiVo user for so long that after a couple weeks I couldnt stand it anymore, so I hooked up the TiVo instead and just went without HD TV Shows and just had my Video Games and Movies in HD. Then I watched the new episode of InDigital you guys talked about HDTV info I knew most of it back when I did research on my TV buy, (Got a VIZIO VX32L which actually has a slightly higher contrast ratio then the 37 you guys reviewed 1200:1 over 1000:1) but I never knew ATSC meant I had a HD Tuner built in.
So after watching the episode I got the ol' aluminum foil out and an extra Coaxial cable I had laying around and ghetto rigged me an antenna and sure enough, I got all my local channels in HD and even few others I didnt know about. What I love about it, and maybe all ATSC TVs do this IDK, is it pulls guide data from the air too and I can view it on my TV without a TiVo or Cable Box on the digital channels thought that was pretty cool. Anyway, thanks again for the info love learning to new things about stuff I have ;)
