Signatures?

Does the forum plan on keeping the option for signatures? I personally dont like them but its not my decision.

how about avitars?? It doesnt see to be setup to allow you to have them!

If you don't want to see signatures, you can disable the viewing of them for your individual account, by going to the UserCP link.

You can turn 'em off :)

Go to your Control Panel: -> Edit Options:

You have the option to show or hide various elements of messages, which may be of use to users on slow internet connections, or who want to remove extraneous clutter from posts.
[X] Show Signatures
[X] Show Avatars
[X] Show Images (including attached images and images in [IMG] code)

I think they've got it right by allowing sigs, but not allowing images and endless lines of text and whatnot in the signature. When everyone starts posting up animated gifs and 20 lines of movie quotes in every single signature, a thread becomes quickly unreadable.

As for the avatars, not sure, but they do allow you to upload "profile pictures" or something. Haven't checked out yet what the difference is. Guess I should go look around some more...
