So, what's you favorite game music? For me it has to be all the music from the entire Sonic series. IT IS G-R-E-A-T! Yet another reason why we need a Gaming category on these forums! Feel free to post videos of the game music as well as anyone who has performed it in real life. Have fun!

Final Fantasy definitely has great soundtracks.

Nobody posted Chrono Trigger/Chrono Cross music yet? Really? Probably the best music made for any games ever, and not just that, some of my favorite music in general ever. There's a LOT of beautiful songs on those soundtracks.

dozens and dozens of games and series but Shenmue is my fave here is the theme..starts of a quiet so turn up the volume a bit it's an epic series sadly never finished..it's a adventure and the only game I forgot I was playing a game because of the amazing detail and pure atmosphere and music.
For fans of this series it really affects you in life even when not playing...while the game was not for everyone the music anyone can love.
