So, I hear Josh is going to be here in Chicago for some reason or another and is going to be on the Around Comics podcast.
It got me thinking. New York and San Fransisco have had all the fun so far, with meets in both places for their respective cons. I say no longer.
It'll be a while till the Chicago-Con in August, so lets find something to do sooner. Who would be interested in setting up a meet up sometime here in the windy city? Either timed to coincide with Josh being here so we can all show him how awesome Chicago is, or some other time when we can all get together.
What do you say?

I know Mike I know I'm just ‘windging’ as the British say over the fact that other than this site( which satisfies the Lions share of it ) and my family I've nobody else to talk to about comic books or any conventions or events of the comic book nature:(
But on the other hand it is cool where I read my books. That would be a good threat actually ‘where do you read your books?’ I'm getting started on that right good job Mike thanks for the inspiration:D

Ca suffit. Je vais retourner a mon ménage a trios: moi, mon verre et mon fromage, et, bien sur mes bandes dessinées d’Asterix.

Sorry, I'm not going to be in Chicago anytime soon or I'd be all for it. Although, I'm already starting to work on the wife for the con there in August. I think she's going to go for it.

I'm down for goings on, but I also work nights... so that can prove to be difficult. We should at least count on something in August though... that's not that far away at this point.

I was also assaulted by Bears fans, but luckily I had my mace on me that time so that was a no go. Oddly they haven't approached me again since February.

I'm occasionally up in Chicago. If it worked out, I'd be interested.

I work for the Tribune and we own them for one more year, so I can still manage to get good tickets this year. If people would be interested, I could see what I could do.
As for August, I'd be totally willing to let people crash at my apartment for the con. It'd be a train ride up to the con every day, but I'd be up for it. I could probably fit 4 people if they were willing to sleep in pairs.
Spiffy, you'd make a great skinsuit, er .. um.. host

I would be honored to have you wear me. Er, join me.
did you ever stop yourself from typing something really funny that is a logical continuation of something because it sounds way too creepy?
for instance, I almost just responded: would you **** me? I'd **** me
it would've made total sense and it was in context but damn it if I wouldn't have come off strange

If someone hadn't seen Silence of the Lambs, I think that would have scared them off the forum (especially when they look at your post count)
wait, I did say it! ****ing internet

Yeah, I've done that before. Or something where it's hilarious in your head, or even in regular speech, but typed out without inflection it's just messed up.
