The shipping list (http://www.ifanboy.com/shipping.html) is out. What title are you most looking forward to reading?
For me, it's a toss up between Mighty Avengers #2 and the World War III books. It looks like another good week.

I'm pretty curious about the WWIII books, even though I haven't been reading 52.

I'm curious about WWIII as well, but have a sneaking suspicion it won't make a lot of sense without knowledge of the past year of 52. I may check it out anyway--my list is seriously DC heavy this week, which is ok I suppose --Flash, Shadowpact (which is seriously losing steam and heading into 'droppable' territory)

I only recently started reading 52 so I don't know if reading WWIII would be wise on my part but I think i'm going to do it anyways lol. But this week it doesn't look like i'm going to be buying much but the title i'm most excited about is probably Spirit #5. I love that book. and a little excited for Mighty Avengers #2...but not that much.

This is like the perfect week. I have five books on my list, and I cannot wait to read all of them. I may have to spread them all out on one table and scan from top to bottom. Mighty Avengers! Ultimate Spidey! X-Factor! Even little Robin! Holy crap!

I can't believe that you have just 5 books for the week. I have over 20.
I have 17 books this week
oddly, I only have 7 for next week at this point. I haven't been under 10 in about 4 or 5 months

Yeah, I rechecked the shipping list six times; you've all got me convinced I'm missing something.
I think the key is that World War III means nothing to me, try as I might. Robin and a couple occasional Batman books are the sum total of my DC books in a given month. Now, in a week or two, I'll probably be hip deep in Hulk complaining about how the week is murdering me while everyone else is going, "What? Why?"
I also am completely skipping WWIII

As a fan of 52, I am contractually bound to buy World War III - good or bad (but I hope it's good).

That makes sense.
I'm looking forward to 52, but somewhat paradoxically, I'm on the fence about the WWIII books - from the descriptions, it seems a lot about filling in the OYL gaps on characters I'm not that keen on. 50/50 whether I leave the store with 'em.

Well, I'm really looking forward to Mighty Avengers and the final issue of Girls. The Spirit is always quality. In the end though, 52 and WW3 will be at the top of the stack.
Up to 22 books this week and can't drop a single one. Maybe the new Legion of Superheroes will be delayed till next week. I do love flight rings though.
Decisions, decisions...

Reading order on wednesday: 52, WW3 book 1, WW3 book 2, WW3 book 4, WW3 book 3 (wait a minute)
but seriously, i cant wait for this, its the culmination of all that is 52 (or that is good in my opinion, black adam's story has been the best by far!)
but marvel wise, i'd have to skip mighty as my must read and go with ultimate spider-man (it's gotten very very very good lately)
but it is definitely a hard week to make this sort of decision, i can't wait until tomorrow!!!:D

Aside from the Iron Fist weirdness, I don't mind Yu's art too much. It doesn't set my world afire. It's got energy and style though.
But yeah seriously, Cho > Yu.

So this week we find out if Fred's OCD desire to continue a streak is great enough to overide quality (or Spirint will rock as usual, but a Fred-pick scandal would be funny!)

scandal will be hard to make because:
1. I don't exactly have a Wizard-sized audience
2. think about the crazy things I say all the time and there aren't any villagers at the gate yet

Looks to be a good week I have Robin, JLA, The Spirit, Cable & Deadpool (Am I Alone Here?), Ultimate Spiderman, and Ultimate X-Men. 6 Books, not too many, not alot. I might try something new, I really want to jump onto X-Factor, waiting for a new arc to start, but not sure where it's at. I'll probably wait for all the WWIII and 52 stuff to hit trade.
I guess I'm most excited about Ultimate Spiderman, really digging this arc, and with the events of last week's issue *SPOILER* One could only hope for an awesome Spiderman/Danny Rand face off. *SPOILER*
I also read Cable & Deadpool. I love it (especially when there's no Cable)

Not a huge week for me - stretching into some DC titles I've gotten into though. Picking up Robin and JLA, and Ult. Spider-Man, Ult. X-Men, and Mighty Avengers. I'll probably get there and see something else I want and grab that too (always happens), but a medium load for me this week.
I'm very excited about Ultimate Spider-Man #108. That's probably my most anticipated book ever. I can't get enough of it.
but it's followed very closely by Mighty Avengers and Ultimate X-Men.
Next week is looking like a lot of reading for me. Hope I'm done with my senior thesis by then so I can actually find the time to enjoy it. Oh and bill a few hours to be able to pay for it. that'll help too.

No but they tied the two together by having cable like fuse with Deadpool partially or something. I can't erember the beginning of the story line too well but calbe like saved deadpools life by giving him some powers or something along those lines.
eh - retcon it - no mo cable

I agree completely. I think if anything the fact that Cable is in this books it's being held back. They have gotten very boarder line with this book and are afraid to take the leap into to completely dark deadpool.

Why does Cable show up so much nowadays? Even in ultimate X-men. I don't hate the character that much, but I'm a little tired of him hanging around all the time. In general I find time travel characters annoying for some reason.

Most definitely. I only had 2 other floppies if you took those out. I’m pretty excited to read that tonight. I still don’t get why they didn’t release it just as one book.

I picked up the first trade and have been slowly making my way through it. I like the idea of it, but I'm not that strong on my bible stories so I think some of it is going over my head. It smacks a bit of those "Left Behind" books which irks me for some reason.

Yeah...I think if you know the bible refs. the story is better...the author makes this big point about how his interpretation of the bible is not that it's a 'historical' document but that these stories are always happening...(allegory?) He does some interesting things referencing the old gods from Summarian/Babylonian days.
However, for a somewhat more irreverant take on the same subject matter--Strange Girl. (I realize I mention this to death...sorry)
Nothing wrong with mentioning Strange Girl
