Would you be more apt to try watching a new Rev3 show if short promos were shown during other Rev3 shows (much like previews before a movie)?
Currently, unless I just go watch a new Rev3 show, I really have no idea what it is about.

This actually could be a good idea, just to show whats happening in upcoming episodes, especially with shows like inDigital where I only watch if they are reviewing something I am interested in.

Or the shows could just run a teaser a few days before the actual episode is released.

That would be cool too, but I'm not sure which idea I like better.

Both would be good. I imagine the logistics of promoing the next episode would be a pain, but even periodically refreshed promos would be cool.

This would be a horrible idea.
I watch my current podcasts because I love the content that each unique show provides, I really couldn't careless about what each of their respective networks are 'cooking up'. If I did I would take the extra 5 minutes to visit their site and check things out.
Case in point- I watch the Totally Rad Show because I love the Totally Rad Show. Not because of some odd fascination with Revision3.
I really hate companies that try to force their content into down my throat.

How did you find out about the Totally Rad Show? Did you hear Alex talk about it on Diggnation?

....or by it simply being a rev3 show...
Also, he was talking about it, not forced advertising for it.

Commercials in the middle of shows are one of the reasons that network TV is being replaced by Tivos and the likes of Rev3. I know I probably wouldn't be a fan of having to fast foward a commercial to either get to my show or in the middle of it.
I honestly would be more inclined to watch a promo for another show if it was at the end of the show. If they gave me an option, I'd be more then happy to check it out. If they're making me watch it, I'd just fast foward.

Yeah, this is a pretty annoying idea. First of all, most people here already have a good idea of whats going on at Rev3, and not really need to be updated. If we do, they could always run a one-time promo like they did with Tekzilla.
If anything such a thing would just needlessly increase the size of the files which is a bad thing for Rev3 for which bandwidth is probably a main expense, and me for which bandwidth is a precious resource.
I think a better way to run promos would be to run a promo feed for those interested. Some other "networks" like CNET do it that way.

this is a great idea
i am much more likely to go check out a show if i see a preview or advertisement for it while i'm watching one of the other shows.. rather than having to go download the full show and not know what it might be like.
do it.

...and I really like the sneak peaks. It would be nice if there was more... It's kinda' a love/hate thing, in a lot of ways, I love the fact that the mainstream media is on the outside... but eventually, the Internet will be chocked full. Hopefully it won'te become one huge commericial for people to buy other products.
