With the various Marvel Omnibus and DC Absolute hardcover editions coming out, what series of stories or individual titles would you like to see collected that haven't been published yet?

Gotham Central, just b/c I don't want to have to try and track down the however many trades to read it.

I've got the Motormouth omnibus already (it didn't last more than 1 issue, right?) ;)

I like regular trades. I mostly read in bed or on the train, so Absolutes/Omnibussesssessses don't really appeal to me. If I had a good sturdy table to read at, it might be different.

If I had to pick?

I'd buy absolute/omnibus editions of: Tintin, Gotham Central, Y, maybe Daredevil.

The closest i've gotten to actually getting one was that Frank Miller Daredevil Omnibus. But just to collect the run, not for the format.

I'm not really into the Absoulte/Omnibus format, but a Nextwave OHC would be pretty neat.

Alan Moore's Swamp Thing would be peachy

Grant Morrison: JLA

That's all I can think of at the moment.

That single volume Bone is pretty much one of my all time favorite comic purchases.

Any thoughts on the color version of Bone? for some reason I'm not crazy about it. It still looks good, but I guess I'm a purist

One volume is the way to go I think--it's the way Smith orginally intended it and that means something to me at least.

Preacher Absolute
Transmet Absolute
Promethea Absolute
Top Ten Absolute (12 issue maxi and 49ers OGN all collected in one)
Starman Omnibus (about three volumes with tie-ins and everything including the Shade mini-series)
Ex Machina in an Absolute and Y: The Last Man in an Omnibus (that way they can nail it all down in probably two volumes)
Fables in several Omnibus (because the damn thing will probably be close to 150 issues by time it's done)
Sleeper Omnibus
Nextwave in a deluxe HC treatment
PAD's X-Factor in an Omnibus when it's all done.
DD Omnibus for Bendis' run
Captain America Omnibus for Brubaker's
From Hell deluxe HC version (which might already exist for all I know)
Astro City Omnibus
Stormwatch Omnibus
Complete Morrison Animal Man Omnibus
Hellboy Omnibus
The Goon Omnibus

Yeah, I have a thing for giant ass HC's.

I think Absolutes are made for finite stories and the art has to be awesome, something you can pour over more than any book, plus the story has to be classic, hence - New Frontier, Sin City library, Dark Knight books.

I too have the single book Bone, I was pissed off when I got it initially because it was the smaller book and the grandness of the art was lost a bit, the other thing, was that it was a soft cover and even though the binding was good it was kind of awkward to read especially at some points near the margins (I didn't want to pull it way open because I thought it would stuff up the spine). I would love to see an absolute version in colour for this book, that would really make Rockjaw and big Red some weight.

I know I'm gonna take flack for this but I would like to see an Omnibus of the Onslaught event. Now now before you stab me with a pitchfork and burn me at the stake (I know you're thinking it) let me explain. Onslaught was the thing that got me into comics I didn't buy the trades when they were available and now they are not and I want to see whole event for nostalgic purposes.
