Jus' wondering if any of you guys got gear/tees/caps or whatever to trade. I got plenty of techie Alaska crap. Not really fashionable here, y'know. It's kinda' like wearing the name of the band to see their concert... a fan is one thing... but anyways. I got the black, "GeekCity" Fairbanks Alaska cap, and I could talk the guys into making more. The really don't advertise anymore, and I thought it was a cool hat with the little 'Lynx' logo on it.
What I am really looking for though is someone who has Hp Ipaq H2000 - H5000, or whatever, PocketPC's that they would like to part with... I got a couple of PSP's for my b-day and a mess of games that I never got into. I've been scouring eBay and other places, but as you probably already know, there is a lot of garbage out there...
Anyways... trade is always good. We do that a lot here in the Last Frontier.

In fact, I thought a decent idea for a cool new show would be to have like an "Antiques Road Show" - Revision1 [PBS], but with tech stuff... for example, an apprasial on a vintage Atari still in the original packaging, or even as far as eight-tracks (like an old Zepplin album), even old computer systems like a ][c, ][+, still in the box, maybe a z80 lab kit... I know that it would all be rather dirt cheap to get the gear and the auction would center, not like the PBS show does on how MUCH something costs, but on how totally freakin' worthless technology gets over time... Perhaps have a show where people bring in their old crap, do the humor angle on how crazy it is that they still had it, where it was kept in the house, (like with the boat anchor... etc.) Do a little spot of 'By Way of Comparison' to the latest Bleeding-Edge counterparts, and show the price difference. I think it would be kinda' cool. But, that's jus' me. Shout-out from all da' homies in the Last Frontier....

...of SledNecks. Man, what a show. Sure would like to goto the Games. Man some of those guys are certifiable. Y'know. I would like to build a "hi-tech" sled. Maybe replace the headlight with an infrared one, double-up on the silencers to make it sound like a vaccum cleaner, put a traction control computer and engine managment system in, dial it all into an interface that will work with a HUD inside my Shoei. Well, I can dream anyways. Just picked up a couple more 'Alaskan Grown' hoodies, they were all sold out last time I went lookin'.
