My new column's up here (http://www.1up.com/do/blogEntry?bId=8062783&publicUserId=5580066#comments) this week I dig into the solicitation for the Halo comic, give my Eisner picks and complain about the lack of theaters showing Hot Fuzz.

Not a single theater in your area is playing Hot Fuzz? I didn't know it was in such limited release. Go figure.

That sucks that Hot Fuzz isn't showing anywhere near you. Kinda surprising too. Don't you live in the Nashville area?

No, I live in Chattanooga, but I go to Nashville quite a bit in the fall for Football.

Cool, I don't get down to Chattanooga all that often, but I frequently have to go through Nashville. My wife's folks live just outside of Kingsport.

Some of the nicest human beings I ever met were in Chattanooga. My family and I owe a great deal of gratitude to their kindness during a particularly awful road trip.

I'll always be grateful for that help.

The South always gets crap, but really, we're the most polite people you'll ever meet.
