Hello gentlemen. I invented a webapp THINKING that CAC would continue on. I loved the show and I saw a lot of potential for a community, so I created www.tastefora.com. Thought it would be neat if the CAC recipes were up on there, but it looks like it is dead now :( :( :( Anyway, the app is still in the alpha stages, but I thought maybe I could get some testing from everyone here. Testing, suggestions, ideas, whines... etc.
have fun..or not

Interesting idea. Kind of reminds me of http://www.recipezaar.com/
Same sort of idea where users submit recipes and other users can add comments. If you haven't seen it, you should check it out.

Yeah, i have seen it... it is a nice looking site. Not really what i was going after though. I have always liked simple sites that are user friendly and easy to navigate. I tried to do a few things different and make it fun for the user, of course im not all the way there yet.. but i think i am on the way. i like the idea of having a simple list of new recipes with thumbnails and a description.
allrecipes.com is another one...but like all of the others.. it is bloated... anyway.. that is my rant..
Thanks for the input.

Well i am glad someone likes it. It needs work but i am only one man... but most of all it needs a user base. So i appreciate you signing up. If you have any suggestions use the contact form at the bottom...... bugs too.. it has lots of bugs...
thanks

I'll have to add a few of my recipes to the site as well. Just looking at it you could always add in a voting system like digg. Of course you'd have to call it something like Whip up or Whip down, or something with a cooking twist to it.
