Two that I am excited for are:

A Guide to Recognizing Your Saints http://www.firstlookstudios.com/guide
The Departed http://thedeparted.warnerbros.com/

I haven’t necessarily seen preview or even a lot of information about all of these movies but something caught my eye an I am looking forward to them:

Employee of the Month - Dane can be funny
Man of the Year - Robin tries to be funny
The Prestige
Borat - Cohen is funny
Harsh Times - Christian Bale is dedicated
Stranger Than Fiction - Ferrell could be funny
Fast Food Nation – Might be interesting
The Fountain – Sounds good
Let's Go To Prison - Will Arnett is great

Yes definately The Departed. I just read it got a 9/10 from JoBlo.com

I also have never really been a big fan of the 007 series. For some reason this new one looks a lot more interesting than the others and hopefully it's a good movie.

I'm looking forward to The Prestige...Jackman + Bale + Nolan = a great time for Iggy (hopefully).

I thought James Bond was supposed to be handsome? Daniel Craig is busted! But the trailer looks great. I love being proven wrong.

For me: The Prestige, Borat, The Departed, Babel, Man of the Year could also be good, or it could just be another stupid comedy, it's to early to tell, imo.

Isn't Casino Royale due out in summer 07?

One I haven't seen listed that looked interesting to me is Running with Scissors, kinda looks like it may have that Royal Tenenbaums lemony snickets thing going on which could be cool.

And no one is looking forward to Rocky?

Dude, Casino Royale is a little over a month away(Nov. 17). I do want to see Running with Scissors, and I don't care about Rocky.

i have to agree with all of you that are saying Casino Royale. I am pretty sure that I have not seen the last few Bond films, but this one might just bring me back. It seems less fantastic and that is a good thing.

I see that several people have mentioned the Borat movie. I am sorry, but that is not funny. What is funny about jokes based on ridicule and making people look stupid? Yeah I know that is the idea of comedy, but usually the butt of the joke is in on it (or at least gets the joke.).

I take it you've never seen an episode of Geekdrome.

The Prestige and Casino Royale are the last two I'm excited about this year. There will probably be a few surprises that people aren't expecting before the year is out, but (summer) 2007 seems like it can't get here fast enough.

count me in for The Prestige and The Departed

like Iggy I heart Christian Bale, Hugh Jackman and Christopher Nolan. Also, Marty is one of my favourite directors, he can do no wrong by me :)

I am sad that there is no HP:OoTP for Christmas :(

I take it you've never seen an episode of Geekdrome.

maybe that was a bad description of the humor. I still find painful and demeaning. (Borat not geekdrome, although sometimes I feel bad for Dan when Jonathan makes fun of him. OK not really.)

-Stranger than Fiction
-The Fountain (they're holding a free screening here in DC and Aronofsky is gonna be there. If I can score tickets, I'm golden)
-Children of Men
-The Departed
-The Prestige
-Casino Royale
-Pursuit of Happyness (I'm sappy. Deal with it.)

Children of Men is my vote for best movie of the year. It blew me away. I would say this has one of the best war scenes ever. I was loving it from start to finish. Check it out!
