Dobie! Wants a little cutie,

Dobie! Wants a little beauty,

Dobie! Wants a girl to call his own

Any size, any style, any eyes, any smile,

Any Jean, any Jane, any Joan

Oh Dobie! Wants a girl who's dreamy

Dobie! Wants a girl who's creamy

Dobie! Wants a girl to call his own!

Is she blonde? Is she tall?

Is she dark? Is she small?

Is she any kind of dreamboat at all?

No matter! He's her's and her's alone!

I'll second Националист on Red Dwarf - but the youtube clip you supplied only had the orchestral version. I like the brit pop closing version with lyrics as well :)

All the themes found here - inclusing the elvis version, the gunmen version, and the hammond organ version.

Another from the BBC - showcasing that Ron Grainger wrote a theme that has survived for over 40 years and is still recognisable as the original.

I'll throw out another BBC show - H2G2, and their use of The Eagles "Journey of the Sourcerer". Not being an Eagles fan, it is the only reason I have that CD in my collection.

God, that almost made me cry, what a p\/ssy I am.Gotta say though ... the current interpretation of the theme is probably one of the best. Love the strong orchestral elements :)

Ditto on the Dr. Who....(not the only one near tears...sniff)

Ohh, I just had a great idea to mash up some video of Dr. Who and Arrested Development. When they keep talking about Anne..."I am the Doctor" followed by Michael Bluth saying..."who?" over and over.

I am easily amused.

Where is that from :DIt was a tribute the crew did for Gene Roddenberry's birthday many years ago.

I guess that since ST:TNG hasn't been made since '94 and Roddenberry died in '91, saying "many years ago" is kinda redundant.

Would it be too mean to point out that Sarah Jessica Parker has all the sex appeal of an ingrown toe-nail?

Actually, years ago in the bad old TechTV days, I commented that Morgan Webb was as desirable swim in the Arctic.

However, I gotta admit, her years on G4 have been very good ones. She looks pretty darn good.

I'm going to throw the song "Tank!" by The Seatbelts from Cowboy Bebop into the ring. That or the original Batman theme. Or maybe Hawaii 5-O. First choice is Cowboy Bebop.
