I know this sounds totally gay, but I like your color scheme in whoever's house that is that you guys film in for the forum questions. What color paint is that on the walls and where did you get it?
I swear, I'm not trying to turn this into "The Totally Decorating Show", but I just got a job and have got some money finally to decorate and hot have a classic "college bachelor pad".
I'm playing around w/ this color wheel thing I found on digg, it's pretty cool: http://www.colorjack.com/sphere/?LoadJack=fu:17,blind:0,mode:0,model:1,maly:1,curr Me:191x191,cpu:0.735,cpv:0.265,abu:0.9,abv:0.07358 ,aeu:0.4719,aev:0.52705
Oh, and video games, movies, tv, tech stuff, and boobies rock. I just had to make sure to remasculate myself there at the end.

Thanks, btw, I'm an engineer who has gotten his girlfriend and her friend to decorate and they want color schemes and I though this was a good base color to start with.

I really hate the way it's become socially acceptable to use the word gay to describe things in a negative way.
I'm not meaning to attack the thread creator or his personal use of language, but it's strange to me that in today's PC world, such language is deemed acceptable.

I don't think he was using gay in a derogatory sense. While it may be a false notion that gay people are all good with colour and enjoy decorating, I don't think he meant any harm by it. But that is just my opinion. I think we need our resident "king of queens" to give his opinion. Badger?
EDIT: Oh, and an answer to the question. Are you talking about the room where Dan reveals that he doesn't know how to read packaging?

He didn't mean it as "totally stupid", he meant it as "totally fashion conscious like a homosexual would be."

i personally think that we have all PCed ourselves into a corner we cant get out of. it drives me nuts what some people can say but others cant and how some simple terms are no longer to be used.

Yes, very true, like by gay friend, a civil engineer, who loves to decorate.
I'm referring to the room where they do the forums stuff, and they did the opening to episode 3 with the Bill & Ted scene (GH2), and the same room where they assembled the chairs from Ikea (or wherever) for the green screen.
Who's place is that?

Thread locked.
Want to discuss color selections? Take it to a Martha Stewart website, or ask about it in a way that doesn't get up the nose of members.
Want color selections in a "manly manner" - go to Home Depot and check out the paint department. Plenty of color chips there. Plenty of non gay people selecting colors there as well.
