Remember when Engadget used to be a simple page with constant updates of all the juicy tech news?

Now the page seems bloated and full of, well.....crap.

Even though a lot of the crap on there seems like pretty usefull stuff, the page just seems cramped. Im all for getting ads in there, but the charm of that site seems to be dropping.

I hope Digg stays clean.....

Any thoughts or similar trends in other sites?

Since the Weblogs buyout, Engadget has really slid in terms of content, and since the reworking of the web site, the pages are filled with ads. They lost me as a reader then. The only time I visit now is if there is a link from Digg that sounds interesting.

I used to read it, but only when it was already bloated, I don't think it's that bad, they still do a great job on the news and tech they right about. They always get good pics of things.
