I'm so gald Alex mentioned Supernatural this week and to Jeff and Dan, you need to be ashamed that you don't watch it!
The thing I love most about Supernatural is that it's just such an easy going show, you can dip in and out if you so wish. Sure there's an overarching story, but most episodes are self-contained. It's also a very smartly written show, with two great lead actors who have awesome chemistry.
Besides, there aren't enough "horror" themed shows out there.
Any other fans on the board?

Count me in! My wife actually got me hooked on the show. I think that season 2 keeps me in it even more. It is much better than season one. Dean has become more of a comedian with the whole situation and adds well needed relief from the tense action scenes. It is both spooky and funny, thus making it a totally rad show!

I totally think that the TRS crew should all watch at least Season 1 and give their opinions.

Oh ya it's a really good show, got some scares, usually a cute woman every week and for the ladies the lead guys are probably attractive. Comedy, classic rock, classic car. It's just a dam good show and I recommend it to everyone. On the CW, Thursdays at 8, goes up against CSI and Grey's Anatomy.

The series is great and smartly written, well casted, and clever. The series may be hanging on by a string though. It sits at a bad time, right after smallville which is a great lead in show. However it just cant really compete against Greys Anatomy and CSI. Moving it would be a bad idea because you loose the loyality its gained by its time slot. Who know though.

I really like Supernatural. I'm not going to put it up to the level of Buffy or Firefly just yet. But with episodes such as the recent hollywood one it definitely shows promise. I do however, feel it is one of the best shows on TV right now.

Ya I've been looking around the web about gossip about it be renewed for a third season and that's what everyone says. It can't compete but the gossip out of the network is that they are pleased with the show and understand what it's going against, I saw a few tidbits that make me think it's getting renewed but we'll see.
I say give it a shot if you haven't it's the last 2 eps of the season so it should be top notch eps.

I watched most of the first Season when it aired... had to stop because of school conflicts and I couldn't get back into it.

I actually started watching it towards the end of the first season. You can really jump into it anywhere, as long as you have a friend to tell you about the over arching story line.
I thought that season 2 was better than 1, too. The writers seem to have let Dean loose and let him do as he pleases. It mixed in a lot of funny into the show. I love it!

SUPERNATURAL: ORIGINS #1
http://www.dccomics.com/comics/?cm=7359
The hit CW television show arrives in comics form with an incredible new look into the mythos of the series with Supernatural: Origins! After witnessing the murder of his wife at the hands of a demon, patriarch John Winchester begins a journey into the dark world of the supernatural, seeking a way to hunt down and kill the creature that took his wife. But what of his two young sons, Dean and Sam? How can a newly widowed father balance fighting evil with raising his children? Is fatherhood a distant second to his obsessive hunt?
Plus, don't miss an amazing back-up story by fan-favorite writer Geoff Johns (52, TEEN TITANS) and artist Phil Hester (GREEN ARROW)!

So who watched part 1 last night.
*SPOILERS*
I liked the ending of it, and can't wait for next week. I went and checked out the imdb boards after it aired just to see all the fangirls crying about how he's dead, and they're going to kill Kripke, and how bad Dean must be feeling right now. It was hilarious. But I'm looking forward to see how they bring him back and where the **** is their pops, I thought he was suppose to be in this.

Awesome! Other Supernatural fans on here!
Personally, I find this show to be one of the most enjoyable series on TV. I'm not going to say it's one of the best series on TV (it's not really emotionally engaging), but as far as I'm concerned there hasn't been a single episode that hasn't entertained me. I hope the TRS guys get into this.

The end of Season 2 was pretty cool, definitely enjoyed it and looking forward to Season 3 as they've mixed things up a little now which should keep us on our toes.

I love Supernatural! I really don't want to have to wait until the new season! I like that they sort of wrapped up the story line and changed directions, if only a little. I was wondering if they'd be chasing the same thing for years and years. I'm glad they're not letting it get stale, well I figure it won't anyway.

Yeah, I was a little disappointed that the first season didn't really have a real conclusion at the end. So I was super happy that this season did.
